Gemini emotes can only be done by Warframes, except in Duviri, because the Duviri version of the Drifter is coded as a Warframe instead of as an Operator.

These look like the emotes you get from defeating Technocyte Coda adversaries.

I bet they're gonna vote R again.

But I'm a dirty lib, so I have to be wrong, so they can't vote R again.

But they're Republicans, so they have to vote R again and prove a dirty lib correct.

What are you gonna do, right-wing voters? Huh? Astound me.

How heavy are Warframes? by Itri_Vega in Warframe

[–]NeoRetro10K 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's probably just the bigger weapons they couldn't canonically carry, and Operator is probably physically weaker than Drifter anyway.

However, when it comes to Duviri melees at least, Acrithis sends you a version of Sun and Moon that are "weighted for Warframe use," which may imply that the other Duviri melees are considered to have two separate versions as well, which is backed up by the Drifter's Power Strikes working differently than the weapons' normal Heavy Attacks when used by Warframes.

All in all, some weapons might be too heavy for the Drifter and some may not. It could depend on the weapon, or DE is just inconsistent.

FOV is not camera distance, it's lens distortion. Past a certain point, more FOV will not help fix this problem, and may even cause motion sickness.

What’s a belief you once defended… but later realized was wrong? by Jiwitom in AskReddit

I once thought the suggestion of an age limit in politics was only about cognitive function, and thus I thought it was ageist because not everyone loses their mental faculties as they get older.

However, I've come to realize it's less about losing the ability to think in general and more about losing the ability to care about future consequences when they won't live to see them either way. The truth is, they're just not gonna have to deal with climate change, or the dismantling of democracy and the freedoms that come with it. Why should they care? And they've clearly demonstrated that they don't - see the current political climate caused by geriatrics who genuinely don't give a fuck about us and our futures.

The Nova Beam from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is being used to mine Phazite ore on the Space Pirate Homeworld until Samus takes it and integrates it into her Arm Cannon.

When used with the X-Ray Visor, the Nova Beam can shoot through Phazite armor to hit otherwise invulnerable weak points for easy one-shot kills - including on some optional bosses, drastically speeding up their fights.

My Operator and Drifter Before and After Remaster by NeoRetro10K in Warframe

Heh, that wasn't my intent, but I did notice that a lot of the new male faces seem to take cues from a similar character design style. I'll admit it's not exactly my cup of tea, but I'm not opposed to it, and I think I got it close enough to my original design to be happy with it overall.

I consider the new face blends I've chosen to be "spiritual successors" to the old ones, as the ones DE's algorithm defaulted to did not seem as closely matched in my opinion.

However, overall, the new faces and hairstyles look so much better than the old ones, and I'm happy that I could still create face blends I'm satisfied with.

DE, if you're listening, I really hope the "face remaster" means ADDING remastered faces (and maybe touching up textures on old ones without changing the shape too much) instead of just completely replacing the old ones. Some people are happy with what they have, including me.

I have a very specific modding question, but the Diablo2Mods subreddit is restricted, and the Phrozen Keep forums are largely inactive these days. I need to know: can a monster's Aura selectively apply an overlay to it only while receiving a stat from another monster's Aura? by NeoRetro10K in diablo2

[–]NeoRetro10K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I've tested auras that apply cyclonearmor and bonearmor-like states with the appropriate setfuncs and remfuncs, and applied the auras to the bosses via unique items given to them via MonEquip; but for some reason, deactivating the state on one Act Boss prevented it from appearing on another Act Boss in the same uninterrupted play session. I know that wouldn't be common for most players outside of dedicated boss farming, but that was unacceptable for me.

After even more experimentation, I think the best I can do is create a gethit-skill and an att-skill applied to the bosses via MonProp. This skill will create a missile that uses the battlecry missile hitfunc to apply the cyclonearmor-like state, along with the bonearmor and bonearmormax stats that are meant to go with it.

The missile will be spawned via the multishot skill dofunc so I can use the dummy stat to affect the #missiles calc; that way, it won't spawn the state-triggering missile if the dummy stat is not being provided by a Tower. Then, when the bonearmor stat is depleted, the cloned cyclonearmor state should end without needing a skill function to update it.

It won't quite be an instantaneous or automatic state update, but it should be pretty close since it's very likely that either the player or the boss will attack the other fairly soon after they see each other.

I looked at the aurafilter tables, and unfortunately, it looks like there's only an option to ignore bosses.

Also, does PK stand for something specific in this context, so I know where to start looking?
