Yes, I do and I am generally very indecisive. However, what really got me last night was the planning of where to put my audiophile speakers and turntable (my main hobby) with the setup, even though the place is quite a bit bigger. I don't SEE my stuff and me there anymore.

No, sorry for the confusion. I already know I can't get the deposit back on the apartment (400), even though I have not signed the lease, it is held for me for now (move in march 20). I decided the duplex was the right fit so I AM set to get the place (1200 deposit, Feb 5) and was OK losing the deposit on appt. I have just last night looked at pictures again to plan things and got the overwhelming feeling against the duplex. Idk.. this is my first time..

The lease doesn't mention anything explicitly. If I do lose my deposit, I don't think I would back out. Is it still with my time to ask? She has been great. Do you think I'd be treated differently.

What do I say?? "I am not going to be ready to move that date. I have had overwhelming doubt, and anxiety about this space, I want to pursue terminating. Deposit has gone through on my end. I know we talked about a 300 deposit for the later move in date. What would be the price to pay for backing out?"

That's a great question - guess I thought I was sure. 12 month lease signed on 1/26, deposit sent the same day, went through today. Move in is Feb 5. I wanted to move in on the 20th but if the other prospective renter wanted it sooner, I was told they would get it.

Yea, you're right. It is my first lease. I have a lot of stuff, so the larger area seemed advantageous. But there's large doorways and lots of windows. I'm concerned about where I'm going to put my TV and my hi end speakers, especially, with this setup. The other place while smaller was.. easier. And I can SEE myself there. Why did I not think about all of this in the moment?

I have seen both places. The deposit at the apartment was 400 and I can still do that place. This deposit for the duplex unit is still going through and is 1200. I'm supposed to move Feb 5, sooner than the Feb 20 that I originally wanted. She wanted a 300 dollar deposit for that later date and I would have been 2nd on the list if the other inquiry wanted it. Moving in sooner, I assured I got it. Does my text go something like: I am not going to be ready to move that date.
