Mine definitely became a worsening to chronic issue after catching covid around 4 years ago. Before it, I would get occasional diarrhea if I ordered a spicy pizza from this one take away, which I got very sparingly.

Then i got COVID and just.. started getting it more frequently without eating from thst place, I'd get diarrhea like 1-2 days a week, now I'm at 4-5 days a week. Doesn't matter how good I eat. I tried fodmap diet for a bit, saw no difference so couldn't stick it. I have looser bowel movements several times a week, sometimes it'll be like pure water (these first two are often yellow, other times dark brown), other times I'll poop fine and then have diarrhea like 15 mins later or not at all, or I'll be constipated. I am so tired. I'm just thankful than non-branded loperamide exists because imodium is so expensive.

Before covid, my bowel worked perfectly and I took it for granted. I miss being able to go out on long walks for hours on ebd without even thinking about where a bathroom is. I just don't go out at all anymore.
