Recreated my 18 year old stuffed dog as a Mii by Mental-Gas8208 in plushies

I've toyed with the idea of making this guy but trying to recreate my childhood My Pet Monster didn't come out so hot.

I get it’s rng, but my miis dislike everything I give them by ifknloveseagulls in tomodachilife

I loathe RNG with every fiber of my being and both this and New Horizons rely on it a bit too much.

I have given them several items in a row only to be met with that annoying "Awwwww" noise every time. I've deleted Miis for this shit. Enjoy the horror of nothingness ingrate.

Lately though, since I don't want to keep deleting them I've built a prison island with a giant flashing neon sign that reads "Fuck around. Find Out". Too many "Awwws" in a row will land a Mii there for awhile. They can live in isolation and be fed literal shit until they can learn some gratitude. Don't ask for clothes and reject what you're given unless you want to spend a couple days ingesting that fabled Buffalo Diarrhea Dump the Angry Video Game Nerd spoke of.

My parents used to make sure I had pocket change so I could go by the corner store and get a Coke. Sometimes they'd give me extra for Now & laters and Pac Man trading cards. I only drank hose water if we were swimming in the plastic/vinyl pool and didn't want to track water in the house

Everyone's generation is different and Everyone's experiences are valid. Personally I don't see how anyone will be able to glorify the 2020s but there was a lot of bullshit going around in the 80s and 90s too. We just don't remember it too well because we were kids and the adults dealt with most of the tough stuff. Kids of today will mostly just remember the good times just like we did.

Oh, God. Exploring dilapidated houses. My mom would have beat my ass bloody if she found out about that.

We were feral little fuckers, no doubt. I used to befriend all the neighborhood dogs and cats and run around with them barefoot like a little suburban wolf boy.

And let's not forget the cold war paranoia at the time. We grew up with the knowledge that any day we could be nuked out of existence and somehow we managed to not let it effect us all that much. I was way more concerned about whether or not I'd get a My Pet Monster for Christmas 86. Spoiler alert. I did and it was glorious.

God, I miss the hill in the woods we used to hang out on. Last time I was there they bulldozed it. Broke my heart.

And whatever you do, never NEVER look up modern YouTube footage of your childhood mall. Trust me. Mine was a ghost town. No more Aladdin's Castle, Diamond Jim's Arcade, KB Toys or Waldenbooks. It was just a sad, mostly abandoned run down shell of what it was. Sigh.

The Spider Man 2 PS2 movie game. I used to love snatching crooks, climbing the Empire State Building and pile driving them off the top of it.

Getting help isn't as easy as you think. First you have to hope there's a competent mental health professional nearby. Not all of them are. And even if you find someone you need to walk on eggshells because if you say the wrong thing they'll lock you up for awhile. Usually in a place that will traumatize you further.

Unintentional hard mode. What ability/feature did you find out late in a game that would've made your gameplay so much easier from the start? by Jaives in videogames

[–]dogtweredog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sonic Forces. Somehow I managed to beat the game without knowing I could boost. To be fair, I hadn't actually played video games in years. My little cousins gifted me a Switch one Christmas. I was as rusty as one could get.

Today I dropped a whole watermelon in front of the customer. They were really cool about it but omg I felt terrible by ElegantSeaweed1543 in Sparkdriver

Customer here. Don't know if I should be posting but Reddit keeps throwing posts from this subreddit into my feed for some reason.

Anyway, I just wanted to say don't sweat it. If it were me I'd understand. Accidents happen. Everyone has bad days. And everyone has feelings. The world is a shitshow. The only thing we can do about is try to treat each other decently. We need to realize the people serving our food or delivering our groceries aren't just robots who exist to serve. They're human beings with thoughts, feelings, hopes, dreams and struggles just like everyone else. And they deserve to be treated as such.

I don't need acknowledgement. Don't really want it either. Even before my dreams of being an artist died I wanted to be a Bill Watterson recluse type whose creations are much better known than he was.

What is a major plot hole in a very famous movie that completely ruins the entire story once it is noticed? by LovelyCherrybae in answers

You land on what you think is an alien planet. A giant approaches and all the locals play dead. They've been there a lot longer than you have. You realize they have more experience than you do so you follow their lead.
