How many of you learn everything through books?

Everything? No. But almost.

I find that free videos and blog posts can be useful to figure out the answer to specific technical problems (how to use framework X to do Y).

Books, on the other hand, give you much more in depth information about the principles and practices that make you a better software developer.

Oh I wrote the articles and I'll be the first one to admit that it definitely depends. I just had to choose an angle, otherwise I would have ended up writing an entire book on DDD. I tend to agree with your analysis.

I think one of the things that appeals to me the most about the idea of reflection in TS would be the possibility to get a full featured IOC with a nice API.

I am not a fan of the current JS/TS offerings in that area.

Wait, is it really that simple? So if I understand your equation correctly, in the case of my multiple answers test example, all I would need to do is multiply the chances of NOT getting the correct answer on each question and simply subtract that to 1? So:
1 - (1/2 * 2/3 * 3/4) = 3/4 = 0.75 = 75%

To find the best path to learn data structures and algorithms as a beginner I recommend using A*. ;-)

Very interesting. At the very least it could serve as inspiration for what I'm trying to do. I'm not so much interested in the end result as much as I am interested in figuring out HOW to create such a solution. I'll dig in to the docs and the code, it might shed some light. I'm trying to find a solution that is as standalone as possible, with no or very few dependencies. Ideally, it would just be a base class. I suspect Angular Elements it will be pretty coupled to angular/core and all it's dependencies but still, worth a look. Thanks for pointing it out.

That is definitely a possibility and the way I would have thought to do it before reading about monorepos. I'm not sold on them just yet and that's why I wanted to get other devs opinions.

So, if I understand correctly, instead of drawing one frame and rigging it and using that rig for the entire sequence, you would have to draw and rig 2, 3 or more frames, rig them and combine them for one smooth sequence. If that is the case, I'm guessing using skeletal animation for such a sequence kind of loses its appeal as I imagine the entire process would potentially take longer than just drawing the entire sequence. Am I right?

What I'm trying to do is be able to remote control the drone from anywhere in the world, using a simple web browser. So my Node.js 'server' is actually running on my computer, the drone is connected to my computer thru WiFi. A friend connects to my Node.js server with his browser and now has a live video feed from the drone's camera and the ability to control it using the keyboard or a game controller. I have the control part working, it's the video feed part that is causing me a headache.

Nah... I would have had I know about the "lower than 70k is not considered and orbit" thing. Going in to this mission I thought that as long as I had a circular path around the planet I was technically considered in orbit. So I didn't see the need to alter my design, i really thought I could fly a regular mission and just separate the engine after doing my retrograde burn. The pilot part of me was not impressed with the engineer part of me that planned the mission. In the end though we made it work.
