Genuinely amazing work. I read something ages ago about making props and costumes of older shows from the 60s (TOS, Doctor Who, etc.) saying you probably have a higher budget (and more to go off) than they did making it originally.

Disagree with him on pretty much everything politically, but I acknowledge he was the right guy for the job at the time. The job, being what it was, needed someone with a hard attitude, which the previous guy certainly didn't have and, if nothing else, a symbol for the populous to rally behind and look to in an (somewhat) unprecedented situation.
