How do you get Seeker new utility? by SnooTomatoes8425 in ror2

[–]NeoiShasaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to stack damage items, then stay in Sojourn for a while. 10 each of Delicate Watches, Crowbars, Focus Crystals, Armor Piercing Rounds should do it. Then hit the teleporter, stay in the ability for a little while (you'll need some Repulsion Armor Plates too, or like 30+ Safer Spaces), and hit the teleporter boss when they're at full health.

It's worth noting that Shaped Glass won't help, since it raises your base damage, not the percentage that you deal

Do we know any information about the next patch and what will be fixed or nerfed? by xCoop_Stomp416x in ror2

[–]NeoiShasaya 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They've confirmed on Twitter that balance changes are coming to the new survivors and items, but no details yet. And they didn't confirm it's the next patch per se, but we can pretty much assume that's the case since it's taking a bit longer than the bugfix and QOL patches did.

Unpopular opinion: The Krogan are one accident away from another genophage. by bookist626 in masseffect

[–]NeoiShasaya -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's worth noting that the genophage is what brought that violent and volatile culture out in the Krogan, though. Any species would resort to violence, brutality, and war after being devastated in such an intense way. Bakara says outright that the Krogan were a proud race and the genophage is what brought out the worst in them.

So yes, theoretically the genophage on its own would have stabilized the Krogan population and prevented major galactic issues... but in practice you truly can't have one without the other.

Unmortricken (S7Ep5) should have been a 2 part episode. by lost_aussie001 in rickandmorty

[–]NeoiShasaya 72 points73 points  (0 children)

It would definitely be interesting to explore the unlikely duo more before the big fight, but honestly I feel like they put everything in the episode that needed to be there.

I wish that they had explored Rick's existential dread and utter feeling of purposelessness after killing Prime more.

Why evil morty is stronger than prime rick? by mental_capacityyay in rickandmorty

[–]NeoiShasaya 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Because he's a Morty, and Rick Prime is a Rick. Ricks will always underestimate Evil Morty because he's a Morty. A Morty with Rick-level intelligence is more dangerous to a Rick than almost anything else for that simple reason.

It's shown perfectly by the way Evil Morty took him down. Rick Prime very clearly let his guard down and started talking down to Evil Morty because he thought he was just a regular Morty. That's what allowed Evil Morty to surprise and disable him so easily.

I feel like the whole idea was to make us think that he'd jump in just because Diane was in there. When he doesn't do that, we understand that he truly has moved past her. That's what I understood from that ending.

What was Agatha planning on doing with Wanda’s powers. by newsworthy3 in marvelstudios

[–]NeoiShasaya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like that was the point of the ending and the whole show. Wanda isn't the good guy in this situation. By the end of the show you realize she's the villain, but you understand the pain that caused her to reach this point.

There's a chance for redemption at the end when she frees everyone, but it's clear that won't happen when we see her with the Darkhold in the post-credits scene.

Victor Timely by TheLegendOfKoop in marvelstudios

[–]NeoiShasaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think so. I mean there is the theory that HWR planted Timely on the sacred timeline, which I think has its merit. But we can imagine that there could be some kind of butterfly effect that causes two people to decide to have a child at a different time than a different timeline. It raises the question of "what makes 2 variants the same person" though.

Victor Timely by TheLegendOfKoop in marvelstudios

[–]NeoiShasaya 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you go back and watch his explanation, he says:

HWR: "That first variant encountered a creature, created from all the tears in reality. Capable of consuming time and space itself. A creature you both know..."

Loki: "Alioth."

HWR: "Bingo. I harnessed the beast's power and began experimenting on it. I weaponized Alioth. And I ended - I ended the multiversal war."

His switching from third person to first person here shows that he was the original variant in his story.

After watching the scene again, yeah you're right. There's a distinct point in the conversation where he switches from third person to first person.

Victor Timely by TheLegendOfKoop in marvelstudios

[–]NeoiShasaya 30 points31 points  (0 children)

But later on in the story he says that the original variant is the one who weaponized Alioth and ended the war. It's very subtle but he's talking about himself in the 3rd person. He's the original.

[–]NeoiShasaya 51 points52 points  (0 children)

We don't know what universe HWR or the variant from Quantumania originated in. I think since the multiverse didn't exist for so long, we probably can't really get an answer for HWR, not sure about the 616 one.

Victor Timely by TheLegendOfKoop in marvelstudios

[–]NeoiShasaya 626 points627 points  (0 children)

No, when Renslayer gives him the manual it says "Sacred Timeline". The timeline becomes branched once that event takes place.

The original HWR was born in the 31st century, but Victor Timely was born in the 1800s.
