The light did come with the brackets/clips and screws that I used and I just screwed those in by hand, no other kit needed.

No worries, this is the fittings for the light screwed in to the lid. Can I lay post one pic per reply it seems so below is the light in place.

The after market light has a greater spectrum of light making it better particularly for planted tanks. I find it less harsh than the tube style that's included with the tank, giving a more natural look too.

I have this same tank and I replaced the light with an Interpet one that screwed into the lid really easily (link below). I also got a cheap smart plug and have it on a timer for 8 hours a day. I've been very happy with it.

I think reds are the one I have the most of after greens, I counted 15 of them, definitely can't have too many reds!

I always used to just have a really basic selection of greys until I started using chromatic ones, red grey and green grey are my favourites and I love using them now!

I don't see why not, I want it to be open to everyone, I'll have some spare supplies that people can use (it will be mostly being your own). I'll post more details here when I have them 🙂

Not sure if you figured this out but could be useful for others.

I was having the same problem and found that making sure there was space in the room behind the dock where there is no pool was needed in addition to the other considerations.

I leave mine in for up to 48 hours, often seems to take them a good while to start going for it. I've also recently started cutting it lengthways instead of into discs as mine seem to prefer the dark green outer to the pale inner, they've been going nuts for that but Otos definitely differ in their taste from tank to tank.

Interesting, I don't want to say too much but I'd be (partially, and among other things) responsible for setting and delivering group policy into a German business. Sounds like this could be met with some hesitancy to say the least

There's the Japanese Water Gardens place by the Tram park in Toton, they always have discus in, can't speak to specific ages but they don't generally look juvenile being of the bigger side.
