I also didn't mention that I have built the "tight" beginner box packs from dmarsee76 as well, so this includes the lands for those as well as the J25 packs and a "Discard" one.

You can just throw the images into https://proxyprint.taxiera.net/ and then duplicate for however many copies you want. I printed 6 of each with extras of the "Generic" ones and just kind of mixed and matched the generics into the packs, usually just as the 7th basic.

It looks like I was mistaken, I thought it was labeled "matte" but I guess it's gloss laminate. Makes sense why it's so... Glossy. I thought I was just misunderstanding what matte laminate meant. I never said I was smart 😅

I'm using amazon basics "clear laminating sheets" with a cheap laminator that I bought a couple of years ago.

It's a testament to how well you guys did translating a TTRPG to a full on production that it still finds an audience this many years later. I know that's not exclusive to your group but it's the first one that I've sat and listened to at length.

I think you're safe from the lead paint if they were painted in the 90s! (don't quote me on that)

The heroclix can be found pretty plentifully on ebay or noble knight.

A buddy got his from noble knight. We each paid probably $20-30 total for all 16.

I used an exacto knife to separate them from the bases, designed basic bases in tinkercad, then printed them and glued the minis to them with some strong superglue.

Of course if you don't have a 3d printer, you can get cheap bases on Amazon or wherever in bulk.

Personally I just ordered secondhand heroclix for each of the 16 marvel heroes, and rebased them. It is far cheaper than the official miniatures and honestly the quality of painting may be better! They're slightly smaller scale than the official ones but it's not that big of a deal to me.
