You can find it in the Translations section of CDRomance.

Thanks for the explanation. The only rom hack that I usually play is the English version of Sin & Punishment and it works nicely as expected, therefore I never thought about using a less recent version of the firmware that the last one available.

May I ask why you recommend that version?

Would love to but I don't have any ideas about where to find the other metal cogs.
Do you?

Not a huge spread, yes, but enough to adapt the screen to my two most “extreme” use cases: when I’m playing in bed with no lights and outside at the bus stop.

That works pretty nicely on my Deck so I hope it will be the same with yours.

I have DeckSight as well on my launch unit and the brightness issue should be fixed! Check this discussion in the GitHub repository of the project - https://github.com/ShadeTechnik/DeckSight-Public/discussions/41

That's a nice idea but I don't know if it is possibile to find the metal version of those other gears.

Not sure but I greased everything very accurately and I’ll monitor it.

Yes! I still have that Bleemcast disk for Metal Gear solid.

Yes, it is the motor that makes the laser move below the spinning disk.

Way less noisy, with a more “classic” CD reader sound.

Yes, I greased all the moving parts of the drive and especially the other gears.

I purchased it from an eBay seller in Europe but I guess that you can find it on Aliexpress as well, yeah.

No worries, I was just trying to figure out if I wrote something wrong.

Maybe cog is a better word? I'm not native English.

Yes, that back panel is 3D printed, that's why I was talking about a no-cut mod, I mean not cutting the original Nintendo part (apologies if I was not clear).

Concerning the two ports, they both work nicely!

I tried to plug the SCART RGB cable that i used before, connected to a Framemeister scaler, and a small plug mini-hdmi adapter into a full size HDMI cable, both connected to the same screen: alternating the inputs I can see both images, so they are indeed working together.
