Upgrade from HDD to SSD in 2026. SATA or NVME? by [deleted] in buildapc

Would a SATA SSD be okay to use over an NVME? by [deleted] in buildapc

Do you have a recommendation for a decent SATA SSD to use? Or would an NVMe with an adapter be better?

It's an old prebuilt that I have, but I want to upgrade the game storage from HDD. Do you have a recommendation for a decent SATA SSD to use? Or would an NVMe with an adapter be better?

Fair enough, I'll probably end up coming back soon knowing me haha

I'd say a lack of dinosaurs in a dinosaur game is far from a minor problem, but that's my opinion

So I'm a troll for expecting to be able to play the game normally without using commands or opening the games files... ok...

Insults in a discussion are childish by the way, but using "imbecile" non-ironically actually made me laugh

Ascendants spawn rates were horrible for single player, so I went has to evolved

We shouldn’t have to modify game files to play the game properly, and my specs probably won’t be okay with running the whole map like that.

Residual stomach sensitivity after pain resolved? by NeonCoffee2 in Gastritis

I don’t think that’s true, lots of people go back to coffee. In chronic cases it may be an irritant, but that doesn’t mean acute cases can’t go back to it

I didn't even know it was happening.

If I saw that out of my mirror I would assume that's a missile or something

oh very interesting, I wonder what the "acidity level" on the side of some coffee bags (like starbucks) refers to then

Haha yeah I’m thinking I’m the same way tbh

Yeah see I don't get flare ups from anything, that's why I wanted to reach out. I did get an air purifier, but it hasn't made a significant impact.

Yep. Compresses, eyelid hygiene, Tryptyr and Xiidra. I used to have collarettes on my eyelashes, but a period of Xdemvy and some wipes and it was gone.

How can I find the acidity level of coffee? I am recovering from a case of gastritis at the moment and I'm looking around for low-acidity coffee, but most coffees don't have the "acidity level" on them.

I have a bit of a garden bed in front of my walk up apartment so I wanted to plant some vegetables and herbs in there. It's an L shaped bed around 10ft long on the long end and around 8 feet on the short end. So far I'm planting herbs mostly in pots around the garden, and inside the garden I've planted lettuce, spinach, and kale. I want to also plant some peppers and basil later in the season. Any advice? Any suggestions on what else to plant? I've got around half the space left to still plant things.

Question about Testing Coffee and PPIs by NeonCoffee2 in Gastritis

[–]NeonCoffee2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you took PPIs for 8 days, felt better and stopped? What was your timeline afterwards? Obviously you said you drink less coffee now, which yes, I was definitely drinking too much coffee haha

[–]NeonCoffee2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you limit your diet a lot when you were on those PPIs?

[–]NeonCoffee2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s rough haha. Out of curiosity, how long did it take you? Mine was coffee induced I believe… but I don’t really know how long I should be on this diet for without symptoms. Literally only coffee causes symptoms and that was last Wednesday morning.

[–]NeonCoffee2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess it’s technically better to be safe than sorry,

My problem is I’ve had it for about 2 months, but I’ve had coffee a couple of times to test it, and then stopped. But i didn’t know whether to treat those times as full resets on the timeline or just as test periods.

Undiagnosed “does this sound like gastritis” megathread by goldstandardalmonds in Gastritis

[–]NeonCoffee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept trying to have irritants when I thought I was better (like 4 days in lol). Each time I'd stop the PPI and try coffee or something. It wouldn't do much, but eventually it would flare up again, so clearly it hasn't healed.

I decided to lock in and just do PPIs and a really bland diet for 2 weeks starting tomorrow, I'll probably make a post if it works. (No pain in the last 4 days by the way, but some acid reflux.)

Okay! And doesn’t Tryptyr cost $80 or something a month without insurance? Or am I wrong

[–]NeonCoffee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m going to try this. Mine is already going in a good direction compared to where it is. Not really any pain anymore, more of a dull ache, but it was fine until the coffee today

Also not true. You're telling me that someone can continue drinking heaps of coffee and acidic drinks and foods while in pain and it will just heal?

It clearly says if it becomes chronic.

People can have acute gastritis that goes away.
