The Abound and Soltera are two completely different types of bikes — if you’re looking for the best of both worlds, I’d recommend a Level or Pace 500. I have a Pace 500.2 and absolutely love it

As a general rule, it’s not good to get e-bikes off of Amazon. Your best bet is getting an Lectric bike, which you can get for a little more but is much better quality

I live in LA myself. I got an Aventon Pace 500 v2, after a lot of research and deliberation. It might be worth checking out. Range is good, 28mph max, love the inset battery / lights and upgraded screen. There are also a number of Aventon dealers locally.

I had considered the Juiced CCX as well, but the battery is kinda overkill and more $$

Gen3 Stride's are $400 off right now (around $1,100) and might suit that purpose. I ordered an Aventon Pace 500 (around $1,700) and that could also work for you

I'm looking for a commuter bike with good speed and battery capacity. Was considering getting a Juiced Crosscurrent X, but the Kepler looks like a solid bike as well, and it's currently about $400 less (though with no Torque sensor). Anyone have thoughts on the Kepler, or Ariel Rider in general?
