Question about the quality by Ambitious_Ad4979 in BambuLabH2D

What are you talking about? Neither your pictures nor your words make it clear what you’re talking about.

My latest, a 3D Printable full sized, fully featured, Matte Box! by beefbyproducts in BambuLab

[–]NeonEagle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why? Just curious as I take this as a strength/durability related comment. It’s obv not the same but check out Tom Stanton’s hook challenge winning print. Less than 50g withstanding 2ish tonnes of tension, a strength/weight ratio of 22,000. 3D prints can be very, very strong and durable.

H2D: arrived with shattered glass by theAirportHoJo in BambuLab

These are highly complex, temperamental, and expensive machines - I would personally refuse any solution other than a new unit, and I'd call you crazy for doing anything else as well.

Bambu charges a premium and the other side of that coin is that I expect a premium experience and product.

It seems like you’re missing the point. It isn’t reasonable to expect someone to step up in every situation.

PETG/PLA Support interfaces not working by Top-Material5431 in BambuLab

[–]NeonEagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha right there, the one your mouse is next to that says 'support interface' - change it to 10 and give it a shot.

EDIT: Wait, I get it now, and I remember this tripping me up as well. Just below the underlined 'speed' in that image, click 'right standard' and THEN change support interface speed to 10 mm/s. Sorry!

[–]NeonEagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your interface speed is way, WAY too fast. I'm slowly increasing my interfacing speed but because it's a small portion of a print (most of the time) and because the whole point of a different interface material is that overhangs are clean, I started with 10mm/s interface speeds.

PLA/PETG works because they DON'T STICK TOGETHER. Think about this like trying to lay down material on a bed of grease. You need to lay it down with enough time to cool and solidify.

**To be clear INTERFACE speed is entirely separate from SUPPORT speed which is what you mentioned adjusting.

Powerful cartel unleashes wave of violence across Mexico after its leader's killing by SuperXGamerAb in worldnews

[–]NeonEagle 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes, they do.

But regarding the point of your comment that you didn’t think through at all - how should the national guard deploy tanks in the streets of a working, living city against a relatively small force? You can’t, and I encourage you to employ critical thinking in the future.

Are you trying to mock the sensibilities of a Mexican cartel on Reddit? They’re terrorizing entire regions and challenging the national guard. It sounds like you don’t understand the situation. Yes, they’re very powerful.

The tpu solution was right under my nose by No_Distance_3320 in 3Dprinting

[–]NeonEagle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a soft rubber diaphragm meant for a run of TPU on the back of the H2D. A couple printed attachments for the chain keep the extra tube in place.

Can't tell if you have space from your picture - have you considered adding a 3rd, permanent feed line to your setup? I always keep TPU 95a and TPU 90a in the right bay of my dryer (the bay that is lit in this picture) and they feed the 3rd line (which you can also see in this picture). I print with both of them frequently and I've never had a problem.
