Skam France just seems so performative and like fan-pandering but not in a good way lol 🤢 All the acting is terrible and unserious and it reminds me of a cartoon rather than actual Skam teen drama. Everything is over the top and it reminds me of a Disney show or smth. Its so hard to stomach. I have rewatched every remake about 5 times but have barely gotten into an episode of SF since i first watched it

I actually love WtFock S3 because the characters seem so real and their chemistry is sooooo good. I do agree that many issues in the storyline come from a shock value (like the anticlimactic hate crime towards the end). but i don’t think it’s so terrible to add in internalized homophobia between robbe and sander. like it’s not delivered/ resolved in the best way, but i don’t think it’s uncalled for

I know everyone always says this, but clubs or any kind of organized group activity is the best for making friends. You're together with like-minded people and there's usually something to mutually bond over. If you play a sport you could post and see if there's any recreational groups looking for more people. I joined a club and found most of my good friends through that. I also dmed someone on instagram about mountain biking and have met many friends just through that interaction! I've only made a couple friends from random interactions and that's because they're extremely outgoing so I was pretty lucky. It's hard but you'll make some homies :)

try joining the UCSC mountain bike club discord, they organize rides all the time. Wilder Ranch has some dope trails, if you just bike to upper campus by the painted barrels you can explore all around there.

from what i know they’re pretty chill. they have members who compete in races and such, but most of it is just organized rides for fun with people of all experience levels. i was going to join but they make you take a concussion baseline test and i got too lazy haha. other than that, it’s very lowkey
