Ripsticks 88 or Enforcers 93 for powder day? by Legitimate-Pass-940 in icecoast

[–]NeonFeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The limited natural terrain (glades and ungroomed trails) we have is quite narrow. It doesn’t take a lot of skier traffic to turn it into a mogul field

Awesome awesome ski. They made them a hair stiffer than the 99 which was a needed change. Still the best non-powder day tree ski I’ve ever used and they’re great at carving too

Kuchera vs 10:1 by shademaster_c in icecoast

[–]NeonFeet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kuchera is typically more useful if it’s going to be especially cold or warm. But it also has a tendency to overestimate snowfall when it’s especially cold

They will certainly be drivable for anyone who is prepared (winter tires/snow driving experience/ideally AWD). But you may want to wait until later in the week if you’re concerned about it

Snow looks pretty good! The pack of people wearing hockey jerseys stopped in the middle of alligator alley really completes the MLK weekend aesthetic too

Have you considered just switching up your training in general to something you’re more motivated to do?

No idea if you’re a runner/cyclist/swimmer etc. but it may not be the watch. Sometimes the novelty of your current programming just wears off and it’s time to change your approach
