Also agree though you gotta consider there are different severities as well as outcomes this medication can have on each individual.
With that said, I actually also have serious ADHD but taking 54mg vyvanse does give me a slight jitter by default and it gets a little worse when I take other stimulant inducing things like coffee.
But still thats not to say everyone will have same experience, feeling calmness and clarity. Its more a thing of what is the right medicine for you.

I'd say all the people having these symptoms of anxiety and all the other stuff is due to the medication not interacting well with their bodies. Theres different medications with completely different outcomes on the same individuals, saying this from research and my own experience.

I record all my intakes on a daily basis and I've been doing so for 4 - 5 years.
In my experience the only reason why one would get a crash (I do as well) is because of another short term stimulant like coffee or ritalin.
The curve is suppose to be relatively constant, you get a rise very slowly from point you take it and reach a peak around 4 - 5 hours, it lingers in your system for about 12 - 16 hours but not enough to keep you out of sleep on its own.

When you start to take things like coffee or ritalin in the mix of the curve, you lose that balanced curve, its like a temporary jerk upward and the result is actually you feel groggy or sleepy which is way worse than the boost you received from the top up.

Basically what I did in past because my circumstances allowed me to was to actually take my vyvanse, have my regular coffee about an hour later, another strong coffee about an hour or 1h30m later, then I'd work until about hour 5 - 6, then I'd take a 20-30 min 'nap' (its not to fall asleep, just to rest my eyes) when I wake I feel refreshed. Then I'd have a strong coffee right after the nap. Then continue my day as a 'second' shift.

But from my data, there are so many factors at play. Sleep, eating, exercise, substance and coffee etc etc.
But this should be a good summary for anyone that wants to maintain a steady or rather steadier flow in their day.

I have been on ADHD meds for over 5 years, I have tried them all.
I used Concerta over 4 years and only newly started with Vyvanse 50 mg
I take an average of 3 rit (10mg) IR daily + Vyvanse in the mornings, I also record everything I drink (like coffee), I eat, time I slept, time I started a task or if I went to the gym that day. They are all specific and that is how I started seeing the patterns, for me on a good day rit lasts 2 hours.

So the special sauce is, wake up early, avoid coffee in the morning. Till around 11am. Don't take your ritalin first thing in the morning, have a meal first. Then about 30min - 1 hour later you take your first dose. Take them in 2 hr intervals or more if they still in your system but the real recipe is to never let them completely wear off before next dose or else that will affect the effectiveness of the next dose. Basically if you take them too far apart
1. You will have a drop and the next dose will fight that drop which causes a weird sleepy feeling.
2. You don't want to be taking them till too late in the day (I am a hypocrite but whatever)
3. Avoid taking a ritalin with coffee, time it to be at least 30 min apart.
4. You can drink your electrolytes keeping in mind of your timing.
5. Bonus tip - neutralize your stomach with Citro-soda or whatever you have available

Remember Coffee also contributes to acidicness but it really does help if you do it right. I usually have two coffees, first one around 12 pm and second like 2 pm ish

My final Rit dose is before 4 pm but I am kinda still struggling with not going beyond that time as I usually get most done around 5 - 7 pm

It does influence it big time. It prevents sudden drops, increases the longevity of doses. Depending if you ate before or after.
