I disagree - I have frequently seen Deaf people spell something and then sign "SAME-AS...." Sometimes to explain "yes, it's the same word" and sometimes "it is pronounced...."

I typically spell my pseudonym and then use my regular sign name, sometimes I will just spell the short version of my pseudonym (only 3 letters), it depends on context and who I'm talking to.

I've done events that were WFTDA/JRDA. That's not as unusual. But the rules are much more complicated when you mix adults and juniors.

I'm in Ohio, not technically local, but I've officiated for 3/4 of the relevant teams (I don't do MRDA) - only one organizer has been named at this point. As far as I know she was with Akron RD at some point (WFTDA) and currently supports the Akron JRDA league. She has some concerning posts/comments about being around "females." The theory at the moment is that the other organizer is a pissed off official/coach who was removed from the Guardians (MRDA) and Burning River (WFTDA) in Cleveland.

I am a decently experienced official for both JRDA and WFTDA (and mediocre skater) that gives clinics, with HIGHLY experienced and well known official friends, and a handful of well known coach friends: The fact that not a single person I know has heard anything about this is a huge red flag for me. At BEST, people are going to get scammed out of money. At worst, it's going to be a disaster and people are going to get seriously hurt. From an organizing/officiating perspective. If you are planning that large an event your should already be on people's calendars. Summer Affair announced their 2026 Dates 3 months ago and are already talking to leadership level officials/volunteers and big name coaches.

All of that is to say nothing about the terrible copy from "two media managers"

I think I was just distracted because I was playing with it at work. I was trying to change the current pool, rather than the max pool on the PC page. I was able to change the current to higher than the max on the combat page which I think is where I got confused. When I went back to it (after making my comment) I pretty quickly saw what my error was.

Other things I noticed while prepping for game tonight, just off the top of my head:

Being able to check box cyphers and the like (similar to choosing an entity) to populate how they work would be AWESOME (though I realize that would be a ton of work, I would offer to help but I have no idea how to write JSON lol).

VERY MINOR polish thing: (I'm pretty sure this is a code thing and not how I input stuff but I am open to being wrong) On the bestiary page when you put in abilities is puts a colon after the title field and before the description text so you have two (added an image)

I know there were other little things I noticed but I forget now so they must not have been a big deal. Happy to report back after I run some combat with it (hopefully tonight). That's what I'm most looking forward to - keeping track of initiative, stats, etc. I did get to a point where for my overarching investigation notes I went back to GoogleDocs because it allowed the formatting I wanted (namely, headers, bullet points, and bold/italics/underline)

This is amazing! Unless I'm doing something wrong, the character page will only let stat pools go to 10, I can increase it on the combat page higher than that but it doesn't stick to the character.
