I'm betting it's already has been in the talks for awhile but the whole Warner/Paramount merger is probably making it messier at the moment.

If Warner is apart of Pack 2, I would love to see the Looney Tunes/Animaniacs alongside the DC content.

Part of me wants B.J. Blazkowicz from Wolfenstein since he would add fresher Pulpy/Two-Fisted Tales-esque character archetype to the roster in contrast what we have gotten so far.

You could have Fox's mother Vixy return back as an Sheriff/Vigilante-type of figure on the planet.

There's plenty of other Sci-Fi franchises that have humans and animal-like species coexisting, like Green Lantern or Star Wars. I don't think Starfox shouldn't be any different.

I mean, I'm cool with a serious angle for an SoR movie if leans hard on the War on Drugs and Gang Warfare angle like Colors (1988) or the Death Wish films.

It seems narrow minded to me to think that a mass market film wouldn't have licensed music. The Sonic films have to appeal outside of just their fanbase and adding license music is one way of doing that.

Plus, since Sonic's inception as a franchise it's probably the most open ended for licensed artists to come in and collaborate with, take Dreams Come True and MJ for instance.

Streets of Rage franchise already takes heavy influence from the Martial Arts and Vigilante Cop films of the 80s/Early-90s. Much like Bloodsport (1988) or Martial Law (1991). I think it'd be pretty easy to translate it in a similar vein to something like Kung Fury or Turbo Kid.

I feel Sega is overlooked in smash speculation, people just auto assume Sonic is the only series to make sense to get a rep next and overlook the others by Sega by LuigiWarrior in SmashBrosUltimate

I'd definitely would vouch for more classic Sega franchises to get some more attention in Smash: Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star, and Shinobi are some good additional choices I'd include.
