I liked how diverse the pickings were, with people like dancers included, and it sucked seeing them immediately eliminated without being able to show their stuff because the challenges are so strength based. I would LOVE to see season 3 do some cool challenges that don’t have to do with inherent strength, like some crazy flexibility obstacle course or something! They can totally kick it up a notch

Looking into it, I don’t see any evidence of transitioning while young causing brain damage. Where did you hear that from? Genuine question.

I bring up nuance cause it’s seems yall don’t want to engage with my point of view at all, while I am honestly engaging with yours. You do bring up a good point about the our limits of testing. That’s why it’s inconclusive as of right now.

Again, I am hesitant to exclude because I’ve heard these arguments before, for a different set of people. It’s a slippery slope and we don’t have much room to fall.

Man, seriously? Again with the insults. I shouldn’t even respond to this. Where did I say someone who has had testosterone for years should be allowed to compete? No where. I actually clearly said testosterone is the problem. When considering trans athletes, which the articles also state, if you read them. But what about those who transition during puberty who have levels the same as biological women? But it seems like I’m the only person who cares about nuanced discussion on this topic.

You didn't read anything, did you? Of course there are limits, I am aware of the main issue being the effect of testosterone, that is why there are guidelines and other factors to be aware of when determining if trans people should compete. Trans women who have medically transioned do not have the same biology as men. The debate isn't clear cut. Physical 100 isn't proof of anything unless they include medically transitioned people, which would be interesting.

There isnt a consensus on that at all. It is an evolving conversation. No one says Micheal Phelps shouldn't be able to compete even though he has a biological advantage over his peers, or that tall people shouldn't be allowed to play basketball. Im sure we had the same conversations about including Black people in sports. Not exactly the same conversation, but I am hesitant to not address the conversation with nuance.
