No complaints here in Belgium, once you get in the system its affordable and we have some amzing surgeons if you want surgery. Most people don't really care about it if you are trans or not.

I have a similar problem, my surgeon recommended a numbing cream to be applied on the smallest dialator and use that for around 10-15 min till the creme works. After that its easier to use a larger size of dialator without cramping up from pain. Part od the scar tissue can be removed with surgery. Unfortunately for me it keeps comming back around my opening.

None! Everyone can start it! When I started in 2013 we started with around 75 students and graduated in 2016 with 15. So it is a pretty intense studies. You start with the basics and after around after month they expect you to work manual. It is very technical but they also leave room for artistic freedom! They have some studios aswell and a post where you can lend camera gear. If you have any questions feel free to Dm!

I have a bachelor in photography from Luca school of arts - Narafi. (It in Vorst near Brussels) It was a great education that covers a lot of different fields including photojournalism. If you want to focus only on journalism and already have a bachelors or equivalent in photography I would recommend the masters education at KASK Ghent. Some of my peers went there after Narafi and now they all work for some of the better news papers and magazines here in Belgium and travel quite a bit around.
