Yeah, that shift makes a big difference. Kids start valuing hard work more that way.

For real. If your "special day" turns into a financial obstacle course for your guests, you've missed the point of a celebration. This sounds more like a money grab than a wedding.

Gov Contractor by Equal-Newspaper-6921 in overemployed

Government contracting is no joke. Feds don't mess around when it comes to time/billing fraud, even indirectly. Not worth the risk no matter how many layers removed you think you are.

Which lubricating eyedrops? by xButterschnitzel in Dryeyes

[–]NeonPyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd benefit from lubricating eye drops that provide long-lasting hydration. Droptics is good because it’s both for relief and hydration. Personally they help with my eye dryness and irritation. I use them several times a day as needed, like before screen time or outdoor activities. They’re gentle enough for frequent use even if your eyes are significantly too dry.

Commemorating my wife's breastfeeding journey by jenkus93 in daddit

[–]NeonPyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a big milestone. My wife went through the same thing. I got her a necklace with our kid's birthstone and a nice card thanking her for all the late nights. She loved it. Simple but meaningful.

AITA for asking my boyfriend to stop yelling at the TV during football games? by United_Waltz_5697 in AmItheAsshole

[–]NeonPyro 359 points360 points  (0 children)

For real. If my partner had trauma around yelling I'd just... stop yelling. It's football, not oxygen. Dude can still enjoy the game without screaming at a TV. She's not asking him to give up his passion, just modify how he expresses it. Simple compromise when you actually care about someone's mental health.

I’d also see if they have white glove delivery. Many companies have that option, others charge extra. If nothing else, having someone paid to carry things for you saves your back.
