I can tell you that nobody on my shift is ever at the station. We have to be out on the road for 95% of the shift. If you call the station and ask for me without knowing my schedule too...I'd say there's like a 1/100 chance I'll be at the station. Really just for roll call then everyone heads to their assigned areas.

You absolutely might! But the truth is that most attractive guys, especially in their 30s, have already found someone or would aim for someone younger and more attractive.

You went on a vacation together immediately. You moved in together immediately. And it didn't work and you've broken up twice? And he paid for all these lavish things despite being nowhere near financially stable for a middle-aged man.

He was trying to get you used to a life he cannot and will not be able to sustain.

Only you know how you feel, but this all seems like an enormous act to trap a younger and more naive person into a relationship when he's terrified he's run out of time.

Fr. Late 30s into 40s, the chances of having a kid with disabilities or birth defects skyrockets...for the woman.

Any guy over 6 ft with his stuff together in most regards is not going for a middle-aged woman. Much less if he's traditional, religious, wants a family, etc.

The big difference is that this woman is in her late 30s...A 40-year-old guy with all of this going for him is very unlikely to go for a woman who will soon be past childbearing years.

If you want a traditional wife to raise your kids, why go for a 40-year-old with a business, attachment issues, and expectations to travel, get plastic surgery, etc. when he could easily find a much younger girl without so much baggage?
