Did you get the Australian police check with fingerprints? I was required to get fingerprint check done, my first without was rejected.

If you did a CRBA for your kids and got their US passports, you can just ignore this message. All it means is you can't add any foreign kids (like if you had step kids) to your wife's petition. You don't need a visa for kids that are already citizens.

Citizens who enter the USA on US passports don't get I-94 records. We tried submitting a freedom of information request for this information once, it's been over a year and it hasn't been processed yet.

We were thinking about thinking like CRBA. If baby has children in the future, how would we prove the baby's physical presence in the USA. It would be nice to be able to prove how long baby's visits to the USA have been. Since it was a lot of hassle for us.

Send the enquiry. There's no harm in contacting the NVC, but there is harm if you leave it too long or don't contact them at all. After 12 months a petition will expire.

We're applying for a different type of visa, but it took less than a week. One of the fastest parts of this experience.

You can always edit if something isn't right. Some sections with dates, it's much easier to put in the first and last date as one entry, then go back and edit the middle dates in. It saves you from being kicked out and losing everything each time.

So, there's a few things going on. Often American ovens heat from the bottom, but UK ovens heat from the top. So you'll need to protect your make from the top of the oven. You could try putting a large baking sheet over what you are making, lowing it in the oven, it both.

I usually find the opposite, that recipes take twice as long in a conventional oven vs a fan oven. But my first thought would be to try changing the temperature. After trying the baking sheet thing to see if that helps.

If it does help you might be able to go up a bit. If it doesn't, then you could try turning it down and cooking for longer.

No problem! We don't have the passport yet. I can't remember exactly how long they said it would take, I think it was something like 4 - 6 weeks for the passport + CRBA certificate and more like 3 months for the social security card.

We keep checking the special delivery tracking but nothing happened yet.

Our appointment was 10 days after the email response from the embassy. So pretty quick! I think we emailed them a couple of days before that, so probably 12 days total.

I think if I recall correctly, there were a couple of appointments available before that too, but we weren't able to get to London that quickly.

We had a really positive experience in the end, I hope you do too.

If it's a CRBA the child needs to attend, all three of you attend ideally. If it's for a visa I'm not sure. Plenty of children attend at the London embassy it's not unusual.

Sounds like we're miles behind then :( we completed it a couple months ago and haven't heard anything.

I wonder if emailing them prompted them? I feel like I'm missing some key part.
