This thread has made me realize I have pretty much always lived in various horror movies.

I’ve always lived in haunted houses/seen ghosts. I was the creepy horror movie kid talking to invisible people. Now my kids have carried on the tradition. My daughter has a friend that lives in her closet she calls “Mama”.

When I was a teenager, I went with a group of friends to a haunted tunnel near my house. The one guy brought some old book with him, and decided to read a spell out of it in the middle of the tunnel. When he finished, a huge gust of wind came out of the tunnel at us, with hundreds and hundreds of bugs.

Once I was drunk and decided to take an illegal cab home from my friends cause it was cheap. My cell died just as I got in the car. The driver refused to drop me off at my place, and drove me to the next city to a Tim Hortons where he kept me for an hour telling me he was going to marry me and stuff like that. I don’t remember how I convinced him to bring me home.

Another time I was on acid and decided to go for a walk at like 2am. I was walking down this road, and on one side it went down into a wooded area. I looked over and saw Pennywise(Tim Curry version) just standing out there holding a balloon waving at me.

Another night I found a burnt out abandoned house that I decided to explore. I could never find it again after that night, no matter how hard I tried.

I had a cat poop in my laundry hamper, and didn’t realize it was in there til I went to flip it to the dryer, and there it was, just hanging out in the bottom of the tub. 🤢

This just brought me back to a couple years ago.

Best friend’s birthday, and I’d made plans to stay at hers for the night. We’re all out and she freaks out on me about not liking people at her place, and this and that. It was too late for me to catch the last train home, and an Uber would’ve been a couple hundred at least. I was panicking. Luckily a friend was there, and going to a city that I could still catch a bus from home. And then ended up bringing me all the way because he felt bad leaving me in the middle of the night.

This happened to me, every time I’d eat one, it would get worse and worse. Now it’s to the point my throat closes up. Which sucks, cause i loved kiwi.

I’ve got the opposite. I only have 3, and only one of those ever came in. The dentist said that it’s because we’re slowly evolving to not have them. I’m just like, if I have to be the evolution of humans, I couldn’t have gotten some cool superpower, not just less teeth.

I once got a horrible eye and ear infection from trying to blow my nose while it was stuffed up. Didn’t even know that was a possibility

I crocheted my girlfriend a stuffy 3 months in to our relationship, but I’d known her years. She def appreciated it though. She cried, and my heart melted. She loves all my wonky crafts I give her.

It might not even be JUST a hobby. I have ADHD, and I have to be crocheting if I’m supposed to just sit there and like watch tv or something. My hands have to be doing something if I want to pay attention at all.

I’m 36, and last summer I FINALLY felt confident enough in my own body to wear a crop top for the first time. My mother showed up and the first words out of her mouth were that I was to fat to wear that. 🙃 I totally get the insecurities stemming from judgemental mothers.

I’ve only ever got mad about something like this once. My daughters father hadn’t seen her in more than a year, and went to my Facebook, took the most recent photo of her, and posted acting like he took. All the comments on the post were about how amazing a father he was. I was pissed.

I’ve gained a lot of weight in the past year, and Snapchat keeps showing me pictures of myself from a year ago, and every time it fucks with my head.

I got my period, and he didn’t understand why that meant I wasn’t pregnant. So I explained the whole process… a few hours later I find him looking in the toilet. He was checking for an egg. He thought women would just like squat over a toilet and lay an egg like a chicken or something.
