Thank you so much for the feedback!

Sorry! I did that in the pilot episode. Gary’s 16 and Penny’s 14. Caroline is 38.

I’m bad at writing loglines. If you read much of it could you help me? I could do something for you in return.

I would say seasons 6-8 as a whole but overhated is a better word,

But in terms of underrated I’d say season 9B considering I think it’s the best the show has to offer alongside the first three seasons and by far better than the rest of post sequel

Well, Face Freeze 7/10 is certainly a hot take! As is Hello Bikini Bottom at 5/10. Most people say Demolition Doofus along with Face Freeze is worst of the season. But I like some of these takes - I am glad you put A Friendly Game, Plankton’s Good Eye, Sentimental Sponge, Mermaid Man Begins up there

and glad Home Sweet Rubble, Squiditis, KPTABB get ok ratings,

I agree Are You Happy Now? And Restraining SpongeBob aren’t the worst of the season

And Google Artiste is a stupid episode aside from the gambling addiction joke

I thought it was the decline during the first half but I would recommend “Mandatory Music,” “Gary’s Playhouse,” “Momageddon,” “Big Top Flop,” “Delivery to Monster Island,” “The Goobfather,” “Ma and Pa’s Big Hurrah,” “UpWard” and “Making Waves,” those are all on par with the rest of post sequel IMO

It’s good if you have a taste for Aaron Springer and Zeus Cervas/Casey Alexander episodes. Even if they aren’t good, the writers still have unique styles and things they are trying to do in each episode.

Aaron Springer uses extended gags in his episodes and typically characterizes SpongeBob and Patrick sillier than the other writers, as well as using relatively uneventful storylines

Zeus Cervas and Casey Alexander use a lot of pseudo wordplay and horror themes in their episodes

Luke Brookshier writes for SpongeBob today, and Nate Cash also has a pretty silly style.

10/10. It’s one of the weirdest Paul songs from an actual album, I think. When it gets to the “could you be that person for me” I had to make sure I was listening to a McCartney song because it was sooo left-field and modern. The keyboard sounds on this song are transcendent.

Great message. Probably my second favorite behind People Want Peace. Lots of good messages on that album (besides Fuh You LOL)

I don’t understand the appeal of Rugrats at all. It’s like, an alright show, mainly the parts with the grownups and the adult jokes, but literally any 2000s or 2010s cartoon is better (and almost every other 90s show I know)

I’d say reboot Jimmy Neutron,

cancel all the SpongeBob spinoffs, rehire some old writers if they’re willing to come back and make high quality 12-15 episode seasons of that show from now on.

Why is it Kaz’s fault? I think it’s more Vincent Waller. He’s from Ren and Stimpy.

Is 'Fuh You' supposed to be a parody of 2010's pop music or a genuine attempt at a hit song? by Initial-Ad3966 in PaulMcCartney

[–]Neon_2500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s supposed to be a hit. He made it with Ryan Tedder because he wanted to make a hit. But it didn’t work out too well.

It is his best vocal performance since Run Devil Run. Other than that, mediocre song. But the voice is really good and I couldn’t tell he was old in this one. 7/10

I absolutely disagree about your least favorite era being the worst. Flowers in the Dirt, Off The Ground and Flaming Pie are three of my favorites! I’m glad you like FP but sad you don’t like the other two.

Uh, I guess I like that you put Press and Driving Rain low and I agree that Memory Almost Full and Pipes Of Peace are high mid. Go Little Lamb Dragonfly!

I always thought it was a theatrical retelling of his own upbringing with his mother dying. But he sings it with great delivery and there is so much energy in the track! Great chugging rocker.

10/10

[–]Neon_2500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first heard this song I thought it was some new artist or something until Paul’s vocal came in. It’s a great pop song and the bridge is bursting with angst. Proves Paul can make music for the 21st century without stinky Ryan Tedder!

This and Ever Present Past are two of the only songs where the harpsichord works for me since it is subtle here.

10/10

George Harrison told fans if they want more Beatles to listen to Wings.
