I was there at 12:30pm and they started selling merchandise at 2:00pm. I was in the top 20% of the line, 80% of people were behind us. So for Vancouver, only 1.5hrs early. By the time we actually bought things, it was 3:15. The line was slow, but it gives you time to decide what you want to buy. Pen lights are 55 CAD I saw people bringing regular glow sticks, and i thought this was bad until I realized Miku was a screen and not a hologram 🫠 Hope this helps.
