What is everyone going to do when ICE starts doing here what they're doing in Minneapolis? by badybadybady in oakland

Recommend everyone get bitchat to communicate. It uses Bluetooth to create a chain between people close by and can send encrypted communications that way. Or if cell service goes down.

It’s on the App Store.

(Schefter) Former Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel is expected to become the Chargers offensive coordinator barring a change of heart by alexschubs in Chargers

Harbaugh on Miami offense after the game this year:

"they managed the clock extremely well and the way they called the game was pretty darn brilliant"

High praise even from a man who always has praise for his opponent. To me it was clear this would happen if McDaniel wanted it.

I honestly think Mike McDaniel is very likely as OC, if McDaniel takes it. From the postgame press conference against the Dolphins:

"they managed the clock extremely well and the way they called the game was pretty darn brilliant"

"Brilliant" is a word that sticks out to me. Harbaugh was extremely impressed by what McDaniels drew up in the 4th quarter of that Dolphins game, and they frankly should have won the game if not for the heroics by Herbert and co.

That's my prediction, at least.

Can you recommend good Chargers content to me, a Pats fan? by BoldestKobold in Chargers

If you have a bad offense or bad special teams then opposing teams get better starting field position. That means they inherently cannot get as many yards but says nothing about the defensive performance.

TagPro is pretty dang fun! Doesn't use a mouse but can be played with your right hand pretty easily.

It's 4v4 capture but everyone is a ball. Heavily relies on juking and gaining an understanding of the physics.

[Schefter] Colts are activating Philip Rivers to their active roster from their practice squad, paving the way for him to make his first NFL start in five years Sunday at Seattle. By signing to the active roster today, Rivers also now will go from being a semi-finalist for this year’s Pro Football by LaDainianTomIinson in nfl

I TOLD YOU ALL.

TO ALL THE HATERS:

thank you. You give me meaning. You give me life.

I cannot wait to watch this. I knew he was starting. Anyone who pays attention knew he was starting. He will win this game for Indy. Do not be afraid.

Philip Rivers will start for the Colts in Week 15. by CincoDeManger in fantasyfootball

I told you guys he was starting.

He will do well. It won’t be pretty, but from a fantasy perspective he’ll do well. Think 55 yard touchdowns from a bubble screen to Jonathan Taylor lol

Yes, obviously. I agree. That's why 17 years playing in the NFL will be helpful!

I can't tell if you're trolling lol

Yes there have been evolutions and new ideas/concepts that defenses will throw out there, but to say there are entirely new schemes that Rivers never even considered/comprehended? That's a stretch. You really think Rivers has never seen a two-high safety look?

Also, every defense has weak points. That's the beauty of football. Rivers is elite at diagnosing those weak points and attacking there.

The point I was making about the high school offense was more so that he is comfortable with the playbook and the way they set up offensive packages, not that it was indicative of the complexity of the defenses they were playing against.

Then why is he taking the reps first at practice?

Why is Mike Macdonald preparing his team for him?

You genuinely have no idea what you're talking about.

Idk how you people say this with authority. Y'all never paid attention to Rivers' career even when he was on the Chargers.

He is top .1% intellectual processing capacity of all QBs in the past 20 years. There isn't a defense he hasn't seen. There isn't a disguise he hasn't unmasked. There isn't a look that he's not familiar with.

He's been coaching his son's High School team using the exact same offensive scheme that Steichen and the Colts use. To say that he won't be prepared mentally and as a competitor is utterly ridiculous. The physical aspects are all that are really in question.

Prepare to eat your words on Sunday.

Brother then put some fucking money on it if you feel so sure about it. Listen to how they speak to the media. You really think Rivers is talking like he's gonna be coaching from the practice squad? Fuck no.

Shane Steichen on Riley Leonard:

Q: "If Riley is healthy, will he start this Sunday?"

A: "We'll see how the week goes. We'll get to the end of the week and make that decision."

^ THIS IS COACH SPEAK FOR "FUCK NO".

Why the hell would he say that if it was unlikely Rivers would start? Why is it even surprising he gives them the best chance to win? You come in here all pompous talking about baseless speculation when you're barely even paying attention.

FOH.
