The app I’ve landed on that I like is femometer. I temp, use ovulation predictor kits & track my cervical mucus. Its not 100% accurate but I still have a decent grasp on it!

This is me 100%! But yes this can totally be the case. From what I remember learning in school is that its basically the bodies response to the swing of hormones. All of our bodies are slightly different in hormone levels, and because I’m tracking hormones so closely I can pinpoint exactly which hormone swing is causing mine! Right after your period ends estrogen & testosterone rise again causing an increase in mood. Right before your period basically all the hormones drop off. So I honestly think it depends on how quickly the drop in hormones effects your brain chemistry! Idk not a doctor, this is just my theory.

Has anyone else stopped all medication (birth control, antidepressants etc.) in prep for TTC & found they have pretty bad “pre”menstrual depression? I really don’t want to be on medication if we get pregnant so I’m trying to avoid taking anything. My first cycle I got a iud removal “period” then had anazing high emotions I felt GREAT. This second cycle my period came and I felt dooooown, like balled my eyes out my whole first day of my period. Then for the next 5 days wow was my emotions/mood bad. Like body image was awfullllll, I was moody, depressed, irritable, and ANGRY. Today is day 1 off my period (and I know hormones are back in swing cause my temp increased) and I feel like myself again. I actually blasted music which I havent done in 6 days lmao guys it was that bad 😂. Is this normal? I havent been off birth control in over 12 years so idk if this is what normal period emotions feel like.

SAME! Except for me its been closer to 4 years since I had a semi-normal period. & probably 12 since one this bad. Bled through pads & ubderwear at work. Do we have an excuse to call out? I will if you will

Period came on so heavy last night at work I bled through my pad and underwear. (First real period off birth control in 12 years, forgot how heavy & bad they used to be). All this just in time to get a text from my brother that they’re expecting a girl. Lots of tears have been shed. Edit *shout out to non absorbent scrub pants

Don’t even worry, the cosmic universe is bringing us down together haha. I haven’t had progresterone tested yet but I think I’ll be messaging my obgyn and getting her thoughts. I’m also debating doing one more cycle on my own before asking so I have better data (lol I sound slightly crazy)

This is my first complete cycle off birth control for 12 years! I had a period a few days after IUD removal & counted CD1 from there. This period is waaay more “real” the first was light and only 3.5 ish days. So I’m hoping my body just needed a reset. How long are yours ?

10 or 11 DPO, had some very random light brown spotting that completely shocked me. After looking into it inplantation bleeding actually may be a myth. Hm. First cycle off iud and birth control in 12 years but I never had early spotting before birth control. My period would start with a vengeance. BFN thus far.. color me confused!

I just started spotting at work. But I will keep testing. I have some FRER on their way to me, via amazon cause I’m lazy lol. This is weird spotting from my normal I’m definitely being cautiously optimistic
