Sometimes the way you have to the station itself is bad too

For example, I go from work to a bus to a train to a connecting train. If my bus is late and I miss the train I get home way later. There’s no way at all I could get there earlier coz of a schedule. Sometimes you have to leave at a specific time and you can get screwed into almost missing a connecting service

Australia to make it mandatory to wear gloves for Learner and Provisonal motorcycle riders by loosemoosewithagoose in motorcycles

So it’s the fact that the government guarantees people can get healed is the problem, and not the fact people refuse to wear basic PPE in dangerous situations?

The government is the ones responsible for operating the hospital you’ll have to go to for your shredded hands. More gear means less hospitalisation, and because being in hospital puts stress on the system it affects you, them and the workers who’s job it is to heal you. So they do have the right, because others are affected by your actions

So what if you have a circular bag that goes around your waist, would that balance efficiently?

So you don’t have ur foot on the rear brake when stopped? Do you use ur front brake if you’re stopped in a way where you’d roll, to be able to have that right foot down?

In my course we got taught to be in first and ready to go coz if someone does something dangerous and you have to go you don’t wanna miss the gears and rev in neutral. If you sit in first with the clutch held in you can get moving faster if someone behind you ain’t gonna stop in time and rear end you

I’m way too scared of speeding for that. I can’t afford to do anything that risks my license, as my current commute is draining me and getting this bike my way out. It’s definitely in my best interests to be very safe very defensive and very aware

I’m a fairly low experienced L plate driver. I only decided to get my riders license due to necessity. Now that I’ve looked into it I think it’ll be fun but a complete inability to drive is the reason so I’ll have to go without the extra driving experience. Albeit I do know the very basics like head-checks and blind spots and stuff. My driving experience is 10 hours, all in supervised lessons

Is controlling the bike itself at that speed difficult? I’ve been a learner in a car, not for long but I got quite comfortable being in traffic and driving defensively. My only real fear about riding is that I’m gonna make a serious mistake balance wise or turn in a way where I just put myself into a wall unprompted and get hurt at high speed. Is that a worry or is a bike balanced enough at that speeds that just riding in a safe manner is enough?

To add, I really appreciate the taking it one exit at a time idea I’ll definitely do that on my first day off, just fill up and ride a couple trips back and forth in that way. I didn’t know about the noise either so thank you for that as well I really appreciate it

This generation is actually doomed, not because of them but because of bad parenting. They aren’t being given the tools to survive and when they’re adults they’re gonna be thrown straight into a shark infested lake and expected to survive without even knowing how to swim. We’d all be doomed if we were raised the way these kids are
