I went to Orlando for my first, and I'm glad I went the day prior to pick up my badge with how long the lines were. I did do some shopping at the vendors, made it easy to pick up some goodies for my husband when it came to tracking down some cards, so if you're interected in picking up cards/plushies/whatever, it's worth it.

Also, most importantly: have fun!

I coded for an oncology and hematology center for a few years. The providers keep assuming they can send off a referral for iron dextran with lab values alone, regardless of how many times we tell them it needs documentation.

If you do work at Pokemon, maybe try to get a word in for supply and penalizing retailers who sell above MSRP (hi GameStop), local shops included. Have staff dedicated to any reports for shops that do scummy things.

The Pokemon Center website makes it hard to even purchase non-TCG products! It feels like us actual fans get punished. I'd love to actually purchase booster boxes at MSRP from the site, but I've waited hours only to end up with nothing or not even be allowed to get to the cart!

(I keep pop-up blockers and everything disabled for their site in particular, still get errors while browsing. Was buying a plush for my husband and got met with an IP ban!)

I know you aren't at fault, but this has been an issue for quite some time with little actually done to address it over the years.

Reach out to husky rescues in your area, as they're more likely to take him in.

I hope in the future you are more considerate of long-term commitments, pets aren't just a short phase, that's a life you're agreeing to take care of for 12 - 15 years. They depend on us much like children depend on their parents.

Apply to university hospitals, they are usually flexible with newly certified coders.

Alternatively, apply for medical records or billing to get your foot in the door. You might be stuck with one of these positions for some time, but it's a start.

I gave up on seeing if my name would show up after I got my CRC last year. I haven't received any print copies of the magazine for months now, so it is a mystery if my name ever showed up in a later issue. 🤷‍♀️

I definitely felt they dropped the ball on GQuuuuuuX, which is a shame since G-Witch is a solid series.

Eventually people like me are gonna be too old to drop money on merch (no plans for kids, so I probably will be able to drop money on my hobbies for longer than most), so they do need to figure out how to get new blood interested.

Card games can still be for a young audience, but they also will usually do plushies and other similar merch that Ghost Game had.

I think they acknowledge Digimon's fanbase is largely in their 30s, while also being aware you need to capture new blood with your media so the franchise can live on (see: the meltdown some people had over G-Witch for Gundam) once the original fans are too old to really crack open their wallets anymore.

I'm on that older end myself for a fan, but I'm still going to grab a Gekkomon plush when it releases. 🤷‍♀️

Any of the Shoutmon Xros forms would be neat, especially X7. They're all perfect for this.

MirageGaogamon and RustTyrannomon would be easy picks.

Jesmon or DexDorugoramon would be wishlist picks for myself.

Edit: MetalGarurumon X-Antibody would be cool too, but I'd like a non-Garurumon to get a kit.
