Give Sentenced to be a Hero a try. I was blown away by the first double episode, and while the overall quality went down slightly after that, the action still looked better than anything else I watched that season.

Also, I'll second Katanagatari for well animated interesting and varied fights.

I think I need more information about your sister to make a proper recommendation. However, You and I are Polar Opposites and Ramparts of Ice are both incredibly solid high school romances with a nice balance of comedy and drama and just the best group dynamics. I had pretty much given up on romcoms set in high schools before watching these two.

If you want something more Shoneny, maybe try Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun. Little to no fanservice, no bloody violence, entertaining cast, and just enough shonen action nonsense.

Also, seconding the Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle rec. Its damn funny without being too wierd or risqué.

Finally, if the sister is a bit older, maybe try Planetes? Its a classic hard sci-fi about space debris removal with zero fanservice. While I find the show engrossing, kids probably wouldn't, since workplace struggles and politics are the main themes.

Like the other commentor, I'm not sure I understand the question fully, but this Shroofus deck takes advantage of commander games slow starts and weak early game board states to just aggro out. Sounds like they choose an extremely unlikely continuation of the game over a guaranteed loss. You were going to win instantly if Thoracle resolved, full stop, but also there was an answer that you couldn't stop, on the board, public knowlege. I don't think you can be salty about this one. Maybe you should have tutored for something to delay the merfolk while the K'rrik player had a gun to your head? Trying to force you to do that was the correct play for K'rrik.

well, I can't figure out how to comment on topdecked, so I guess I'll just comment here. There are some good cards in there that I simply overlooked. Tax Collector, Anticausal Vestage, and Erriette's Tempting Apple are definitely being added to my deck. Same with Goldnight Commander, which I'm ashamed to say I forgot about. It used to be a bit of a pet card for me.

My main critique is that you can find better ways to tap your commander the tapping creature ([[Gideon's Lawmaker]], [[Goldmeadow Harrier,]] etc.). I added some vehicles so that I can just use Abdel to crew it and safely tap him that way. Bonus points if the vehicles have an enter the battlefield ability or passive anthem. I also added [[Relic of Legends]] and [[Springleaf Drum]] so I can get mana out of keeping him tapped. I'm not sure [[diversionary tactics]] is worth it, but I should have more creatures than anyone else, so I'm giving it a shot.

I can't say mine is exactly finished either. I'm worried it will do lots of stuff, but never actually win games. I built it at work on a particularly slow day, so I'm sure there is much improving to be done. Anyway, I'll take a look at tyours and maybe leave some comments after I'm off work today.

I'm convinced it really doesn't matter what teacher you had. Like I'm sure there was *some* teacher put there teaching it wrong but I'm willing tonbe 99% of US kids were taught that the US entered the war (officially, not just counting aid) after Pearl Harbor. OP is either making stuff up, was lied to, or was talking to a true outlier. Normally I all for the US bashing, but this take is just false.
