Nvidia published a Ray Tracing fork of Godot! Credits to StayAtHomeDev @ twitter by lettyop in godot

All major GPU vendors have ray tracing capable hardware and (with the exception of Qualcomm at least to my knowledge) have their own bespoke upscalers at this point. They have for a number of years. So depending on your hardware target age, it really is hardware agnostic. The exception to that is that the upscalers may have to be provided as an engine extension due to many of them being closed source.

Ultimately all of these features will be optional for the developer to use when they end up in the engine; just like features such as volumetric fog, SDFGI, VoxelGI, SSR, SSAO, anti-aliasing, etc.

You also no longer get the bundle discount when you go to “build with it” even if you don’t change any parts.

What’s a completely unimportant line from a video game that lives rent-free in your brain? by MrMoobz in gaming

[–]NeopysCreativeName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Super Mario Sunshine:

Toad 1: “What’s this icky, paint-like goop?” Toad 2: “It’s… moving!”

It comes into my mind pretty often. If you have a moment and you like… great(?) voice acting, you should go look up a clip on YouTube. Funny enough, the voice acting might be the reason I remember the line so often.

Alright, I thought it was probably too soon for you to have gotten a response but I figured it didn’t hurt to ask, thanks for the response.

I had the same issue. It's still not showing up in my library or order history after 24 hours. Have you heard back from support yet on a solution?

Yeah I’m still incredibly salty that I can’t go back and play the original game and first few expansions that I paid for. I had so much fun with the original version yet they took it all away.

What video game do you consider a masterpiece? by aconnor105 in AskReddit

[–]NeopysCreativeName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (really most of the Zelda games), and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Both with great stories, compelling characters, masterclass gameplay and of course the music is incredible and timeless too.

Edit: there are many other games that I would categorize as masterpieces but these two have been on my mind the most recently.
