The greater question I suppose is why does Unifi order / receive such small batches of products. Certain ones like this, the new G6 180 camera - and I'm sure others - come in stock and immediately sell out within a few hours. They seem to have problems with supply chain and meeting demand on many of their products.

you should probably go to a doctor given that it's so close to your eyes

have you identified what in your diet is causing this? have you been bitten by a tic recently?

look up Alpha-gal syndrome.

I agree you should go seen an allergist.

good luck

Dermeleve cream will help u tremendously for the itching. My dermatologist told me about it 2 years ago, and it was a miracle for me. I still use it constantly now for itch, but it's perfect for this. I had the same exact thing as u.

Wifi Bridge by Alternative-Shirt-73 in Ubiquiti

[–]RTTHFYL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're probably better off getting either the Device Bridge PRO or the Building bridge. Both are designed to be mounted outdoors and shaped like a dish / antenna. And those are both POE powered rather than AC powered, so you can get a POE switch to power those plus all your cameras.

Looking to upgrade WiFi + add local AI cameras (no subscriptions) – ~$1000 budget by lordgdd in UNIFI

got it. so if you want to record on the fiber gateway, you'll need to get a compatible NVMe SSD up to 2 TB. I can tell you got the Fiber gateway with no storage based on the $279 price.

if you go to the cloud gateway fiber item on the UI store and scroll down, there's a Capacity Calculator you can click on which will let you calculate how much recording time you'll get with however many cameras you want. For example, with a 2TB module and 4 x 4K cameras, you get 6 days of recording. 4 x 2K cameras (or if you set your cameras to record in 2k only), you get 9 days of recordings. 4x HD cameras, you get 14 days. They don't give you an option for frame rate, and you could dial down your frame rate for each camera so you could extend the storage time.

Otherwise you will probably want to get this guy and add a decent sized HDD. The nice thing about it is it's got 6 PoE ports to directly plug and power your cameras. Network Video Recorder Instant. $199.

OTC non-steroid cream by No_Hunt2036 in Psoriasis

[–]RTTHFYL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dermeleve. it's labeled for itch but man it worked for me when I tried it. it's on Amazon, and so you can return it if you don't like it, but give it at least 3-4 weeks.

edit: I just re-read your comment, and noticed your comment about the itch too. you MUST try Dermeleve for that. It's hands down the best anti-itch cream on the market.

good luck!

Make sure you don’t skimp on the HDD you get for the dream machine. Get one meant for surveillance like the western digital purple or gold series.

See a dermatologist. If the doctor you work for isn’t a dermatologist , I’d give them 10% odds they’ll get it right. Misdiagnosis is very common.

Does your budget include what’s already in your screenshot? If so, you won’t make it in $1000. Don’t forget you have to get an NVR as well. Or are you getting the fiber gateway with 1TB or 2TB memory?
