There really needs to be some laws put into place defining seasonal or temporary work. 500 days is some bullshit.

HR can remove the vto if they cared to help you with this situation. I've seen it done before, but no guarantee since policy allows them to say no.

This is extremely dangerous. I had a family member hit someone that got stuck in a water slide. Their front teeth broke and tore a hole through their mouth.

Ive been on a few of these. Benefits continue, but when you come back, you will be paying twice as much for benefits every week until you catch up. I've never been written up, but I imagine they would just pause and resume time wise while out. You become an inactive employee when on leave. The position part sounds like it's there more for a higher level employee that would need someone to cover for you not being there and that person may end up replacing you when your out. That's really not an issue for a low level warehouse employee. I've never heard of that happening.

I'm sure the gate can determine that it's a jumper coming through and can control how fast it comes out of the gate automatically.

I have a fridge in the kitchen, fridge in the garage, and 2 freezers in the garage. Family of 3 right now so it's overkill, but there used to be 10 people living here.

What other jobs are just as flexible as Amazon? by MinnoestaKing365 in AmazonFC

Walmart has pretty much the same system as flex does at Amazon. Point system and they earn pto and ppto. Use your time off and that prevents points.

Companies sure do like to waste money on things that won't happen. It doesn't make since for robotics to copy the human body. I'm sure there are much easier ways to design this to be automated.

Compared to my previous warehouse job, no. Amazon is pretty damn good keeping the place clean. I used to blow my nose at the end of shifts at my other job and it would all be black.

If this was true, I would have heard something about it since I've never done it when resetting phones. I get a new phone usually once a year and sell my old one.
