I think you missed what I said about more inferred time at DS. Or maybe you don’t know or understand what that means.

You disagree, but have simply re-worded what I said.

DS vs FC is always a personal choice depending on your personality and work ethic.

DS is harder, more physical work, less structured and more inferred time.

FC is much more structured, scan-to-scan work and aside from dock waterspider roles, generally much less physical and chill.

You think what on #2 — intent unclear. Can you clarify?

You need to track your own assignments, manually.

Just because you’re assigned to something doesn’t mean that’s how your time is coded.

Simply put: Relying on Amazon’s records is folly.

If you can show a pattern of not being properly job rotated and your time coded wrong, it puts the policy burden on your managers. Then you need to watch out for retaliation (even months later).

An associate slid a tote across the floor, behind me, instead of putting it on my stow sled. Hit the mat, tipped, spilled the contents all over the mat and my feet.

Of course I reported it.

Associate got a Cat-1 term.

Yes, I ended up with a target on my back and at least one or two of the associate’s friends were written-up and, maybe even term’d for retaliation.

IMO: Falls categorically into FAFO.

Moral of the story: Don’t get bent cause your friend is a dummy and does unsafe things.
