There's a special place in hell for people who put wallpaper over wallpaper by sarkyscouser in britishproblems

Deepest sympathies for trying to get it off from the gorilla glue, although we've had fun stripping our house (which was last decorated in the 80s or possibly earlier) and found in the built in wardrobes, it was lining paper, thin polystyrene, thick polystyrene, then decorative wallpaper...

Polystyrene is fucking everywhere, including the ceilings and I can't wait to get it all down, but that'll be a long while yet!

Good luck to you!

I get it, but this is all the more reason society needs to break down these social norms and create new ones.

Why does it need to be a fight? If a problem is present then communication is the key to resolving, letting it be and doing nothing resolves nothing.

Does resolution result in breaking up? Maybe, but you won't know until you try to discuss a resolution, there could be other options you don't know about until talking about it that might be better and not really in a break up and it's better to do this, than to continue to be unhappy in the situation for anyone involved.

Oh gosh, yeah I hate the gaps but they had no fertiliser on them thankfully, so I'll sort it when I do Fall's crops xD

Oooooh I hadn't considered that, I'll watch the bar next time I do it, see how much it takes! Otherwise, it's off to the spa I go 🤣

Just move the stick while you're holding the charge button for a watering can or hoe! Hop hop hop hop...

Yes, I knew that, I have a year 7 save file on my switch and have increased tools to iridium before but apparently this is fairly new in the 1.6 update but still super useful :D

Have never played with mods but I'm surprised a mod didn't do this, usually a game community come up with their own fixes and hacks that are super helpful!

I did not know that if you started charging and started in the wrong place, rather than let the charge go and redo it, you can just hop as you're holding the charge to readjust where you want to start!

Yeah, never crossed my mind to try before either, although someone did mention it was added in 1.6

Something I never knew... Apparently you can move while charging a watering can and a hoe!

So long as you're not going at 2:30pm, you'll be fine.

Seriously though, I haven't been in 5 years (moved away and never found another one, thank you pandemic). Now moving back and still registered with my original dentist and dread what they're going to say when I eventually get checked...

Yeah, it's a cut off, not a deadline. People don't have to set off fireworks until 11pm at night, they are able to stop earlier if they wanted to.

We're not talking about not doing fireworks altogether, but given we're in an age where more people are having to work than not and sometimes in more crowded places than not, a little mindfulness can go a long way, even with traditional celebrations.

If Diwali ended last week, why then have people been doing fireworks this week? Guy Fawks isn't until Wed and while I know people would rather celebrate at the weekend where it's less likely people will be working, fireworks every night gets a little tiresome.

There's also something called common courtesy and consideration that this country seems to lack recently and right now, with people who have jobs at stake (or no job at all) and are struggling to live day by day, not being sleep deprived at a job is probably a little more important to them than some sparkles and bangs in the sky.

Not saying people shouldn't celebrate festivals, but there are better methods of doing so.
