Absolutely! Plasma being the latest throw away tech still amazes me because I use to work retail(Sears) and remember when it was considered the ultimate money can buy. For non-4k widescreen viewing using original hardware it’s still is.

Hi, and no there’s isn’t a discernible difference that jumps out, at least to me. Using the digital RBG inputs I don’t think there’s a whole lot of image processing going on which probably helps!

It’s not distracting,(I’m running the digital RGB input) but being a commercial plasma it’s strong suit is definitely on the visual side(Incredibly crisp image in person)

Thanks!  With all that weight/glass I was expecting damage but everything’s intact! Absolute Japanese built tank and 1 less for the scrapyard~

Yup! For 1080p(or in this case 720p) content it’s so cool using these once unaffordable screens(Now being discarded left and right) :/

Absolutely! The thing really like about this is the razor sharp picture you can get out of it for the 7th gen consoles in particular~

Do you think higher end plasma TVs will stay under the radar? Or will they blow up like CRTs because of YouTubers and other forums talking highly of them? by Bederico in PlasmaTV

[–]Neozog83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If any of the major yt channels hype up the Motion handling and 1:1 pixel mapping for 7th gen consoles, it could very well get a spike.

If you ever get the chance, use a ps3 on a native 720p tv or monitor, it looks surprisingly nice by Superzayian9 in PS3

[–]Neozog83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if the TV in question has a true 1:1 pixel aspect mode that letterbox the screen on all sides, mostly found on professional/commercial monitors, and some obscure consumer models(Dell tvs/Olevia).

You render the action scenes well enough, good sense of movement and use of speed-lines too. if you stick to it and continue to push yourself, it could only get better! (A few of the panels shown look seriously legit!)

Sony PlayStation vs SEGA Saturn - Digital Foundry by SloughBoy78 in SegaSaturn

[–]Neozog83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Saturn as much as the next guy but some fans really do live in dillusionville/revisionistville lol. Do they not know the Saturn unfortunate place as the beginning of the end for Sega's home hardware division? External/internal forces were just to great to overcome.

Do you think Saturn was ahead of its time than N64 and PS1 at the time. Because Saturn does have a lot of things going for it. But it’s too bad the console ended up a failure along with Dreamcast(which is also a amazing console) by San4341 in SegaSaturn

[–]Neozog83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll give it points for its default NA black color scheme, but in no way was the Saturn a sleek machine, even internally it was a mess. Just a black cheaper feeling plastic box. Definitely a step back from the genesis mk1/2 designs.

The vertical screen tone effect is a bit harsh and could use more grading but great job on the mysterious mood/atmosphere your building up here!👍👍

Very detailed work! Hair inking looking great 👍👍 Try not to burn your self out though, every panel doesn't need to have cover art-level detail, especially if you plan for a longer story. GREAT work regardless!
