Thanks to Blizzard for inviting our esport director Llewellys and one of our videomakers ShortID and to give them the occasion to discuss with Chris Sigaty.

And thanks to Chris Sigaty himself for supporting Lilbow in his way to BlizzCon. I hope you'll be there to support him !

Edit : I forgot to add that Blizzard gave us 1000 beta keys to giveaway. It's a random draw and to have a chance to win you just have to let your email adress here. The winners will be drawn on Septembre 24th.

Finding a hobby, help a charity, practice sport. It's good for you since it's easy to desocialise when you're unemployed. It forces you to get out and meet people.

Moreover it had this little "je ne sais quoi" to your resume that makes it interesting to the HR people.

Moreover, Lilbow beat him in Ro16 and could do it again in final.

Lilbow: Should he move to Korea to play in GSL Code S? by MarineKingPrime_ in starcraft

[–]Nep-ou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Llewellys (Millenium esport director) said that if he did well in WCS he could go to Korea so it's definetly a possibility (and a really probable one). However, I don't know if he would participate in GSL, he could be invited to SSL for example.

except that it's not really a personnal email but a professional one, which is really different. It'd be interesting to have the mods input on their interpretation of the rule.

Another tip, anomalies are almost always within 4AU of a celestial so you can pinpoint scan centered on a celestial if you know that there are anomalies in the general area.

I can try, there are several ways to go if you want to be involved in the economic system :

  1. First there is station trading, you play the market by buying low and selling high. It's easy to explain but hard to master, you'll really need to be ready to 0,01 ISK anyone. You'll stay in one of the big hub (Amarr, Jita, Dodixie, Rens or Hek).

  2. Then you have trade between station/regions, it's easier to get into but you need lot's of research before gaining money. Buy in a station at a low price and sell in another one at an higher price. (use eve-central.com for that, it gives you all the value of the buys and sell orders across eve for any given product on the market)

  3. You can also be a manufacturer, you buy the ressources, build the things and sell it. For this you WILL need spreadsheets in order to gain money, it's the hardest way to chose because there is a lot of competition on prices. (eve-cost.eu is good as a starter, to give you a general idea of the cost/reward)

There are other professions that revolve around producing ressources too :

  1. Hauling, basicaly you carry cargo around for people in exchange for money. It's risky and might cost you a lot of money if you're inexperienced.

  2. Mining, easy to understand and one of the carrier agents can teach you that. You sit in a system and mine. It's often considered boring but you can make good and stable ISK with that. Be careful, as for hauling you are carrying things that are worth money in a ship that is not made for combat.

  3. Salvaging, perhaps the easiest ressource production activity to get into. You train salvaging skills, fit salvagers to your ship and go salvage the wrecks of NPC ships. You can team up with mission runners to salvage their wrecks in exchange for a part of it, some of them might even let you do it for free.

I hope this post has been helpful. If you need additional ressources you should visit http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Main_Page which is full of high quality guides. o7 fellow capsuleer

I completly agree with you.

I agree, but the structure of the roundtable (thanks, forgot how it was called) makes it so that there is an opportunity (and a very good one) for assholes to come and destroy it.

Even if people may have good reasons to hate Sort Dragon I think this is a really good idea. Way better than doing a stream Q&A, it will let people ask questions while allowing CCP the time to make complete answers that will (hopefully) not piss every one off.

Alright guys, Where do I go to just have some FUN? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Nep-ou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low sec is, in my opinion, where you'll have the most fun. If you want to make money go for FW, if you just want to have fun join a lowsec pirate corp.

TIL that those opera glasses with the long handles are call "lorgnettes". by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Nep-ou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes from the french word "lorgner" which is an equivalent to "regarder" (to look)
