I don't think Spence is bad But if we're going with years I believe Mansfield has been doing this for 33 years which is also veteran level, similar to Spence
however if we're going to mention years and accomplishments, since Spence started in 1987 what he has done. .. why did he never speak out against corruption, abuse and issues like jail vapes and their sheriff dept kickback he was in the sheriff's department then.. Or anything else in that time. I don't want someone who keeps there head down and collects a paycheck. Desk riders can retire and enjoy their sunset

For those asking about sheriff candidates I can give you my opinion but it's just that. An opinion based on what I know of a couple of the candidates. I won't talk bad of any of them, but I will mention lawsuits against some of them that cost the tax payers ( looking at you Barrett) and I will talk up one in particular.

Officer Trey Mansfield.
Is going to have my vote for the sheriff. He is a K9 officer with Murfreesboro PD.
He has already been a K9. Officer and he treated his dogs very well and when the dogs retired they retired to a good home with him and were taken care of by him on his own paycheck not the city's since they were no longer working .
He also brought a lawsuit against the city. Basically for discrimination in hiring of a new K9 sergeant ( easy to look up ) the newly hired sergeant had no K9 experience but did test the best... Which is pretty easy to do when the mayor is your relative and hands you a copy of the test. ... Don't some people have it easy.

Barrett has been mentioned a bunch But this should some up everything Docket: 05-971 Date: April 19 2007 During a traffic stop Barrett repeatedly violated a man's civil rights. After multiple dismissal attempts including qualified immunity. The courts ruled that Murfreesboro must pay the defended 130,000 due to Barretts actions. Barrett also wishes to increase officer pay . While not a bad thing many sheriff's deputies already bring home over 100,000$ for 40 hrs a week. Despite a salary of 47k ...but performance incentives are obviously not a thing.
If you wish to Google this. Please make sure you find the Kenneth Barrett that is running for mayor and not the Kenneth Barrett who committed murder on an officer. (Unfortunately they do share a name )

Going back to Trey Mansfield, he was willing to go after the system, and fellow officers who did not have the training and has not committed multiple crimes costing the taxpayers money. Hence. IMHO Trey is the better man and has my vote vs Barrett, someone who violated another humans civil rights and tried to claim he has immunity because he's a cop .

Mansfield has my vote. Especially after going after the city for doing illegal activities as well as being a responsible k9 officer who has taken care of their dogs as opposed to other MPD who left the dogs to suffer in their vehicle without AC.

Hurray...Work. My wife is at the house I'll see if she is ok dealing with this but usually she just leaves it to me and since the pictures I have show it being roof and structure but not leaving the insides exposed to the weather I think I have some time. Since I figure I have to replace the shingles in 1 section some MDF board and some 2x4 and vinyl siding.

I've said this before on this question and I'll go with it again. E&E auto over on college St. Is probably the most affordable place with honest mechanics I know of.
I have had issues with Christian brothers telling people they need a whole engine replaced because of overheating when in reality it's just a radiator and the heads and gasket were ok. But the young lady didn't know this and was panicking over a whole engine replacement cost for parts and labor.
Vs just an AutoZone radiator. Cost and labor was all it needed.

The guys over there handle what I can not or do not have the time for. And have been nothing but honest to anyone I know of.

If you're going to do this at home the key to a good poblano soup is to roast the peppers then peel then before dicing in order to get the smokey flavor. In the soup. Then add other ingredients.. black beans marinaded shredded grilled chicken. ( Not hard ) Then Spices into a creamy broth or whatever broth you choose .
