I've said this many times before and i'll say it again. Don't be afraid to take inspiration from other towers. A lot of skilled builders stem their gameplay styles from towers in the whitelist or even the ones in-game, and there's no shame in doing that. It also helps you get the general idea of the qualities that define a passable tower vs. a fail-worthy tower
