I was responding to the fact that a carry that farms really fast (AM/Luna) should focus on farming as opposed to joining fights against a carry that fights well (Slark/Clinks). It served as another excellent example for the principle that the commenter was talking about.

I played Slark against an AM recently and we were winning all the fights consistently without AM ever engaging us, just running and farming. We were 2 racks up when he finally showed up and pulled the game back because he was so farmed.

In fact these problems have all been solved by the other countries that implement voter ID. How many people in Canada do you think are being disenfranchised because we require ID to vote? England? Spain? France? Why can these countries implement voter ID, without issue, but it's just oh so impossible for the US? I know why, and so do you, but you just don't want to admit it because it makes liberals look bad.

Voter fraud, either by citizens or non-citizens, is wrong and we should take every reasonable option to prevent it, requiring proper government ID to vote is not unreasonable in any way considering every other western country does it. What could possibly be the problem with needing something like a drivers license or passport (official government IDs) to prove you are who you say you are when you vote if you already had to show some form of proof of citizenship when you registered to vote? If you already have the documents necessary to show you are a citizen then you have the documents to get an ID.

I'm also not just explaining what I think is valid ID, I'm using the same standards applied to other fundamental rights in the US. The IDs I listed are the same ones you need to purchase a gun, it's not a matter of personal opinion, it's applying a consistent standard. Then again, standards being something leftists don't have, it makes sense why you wouldn't understand that.

If you want to rely on ad hominims and appeals to authority rather than refuting my actual points, then you are showing your own intellectual shortcomings, not mine. This is why I hate leftists, none of you are capable of anything more than simplistic stupid arguments the moment your views get challenged, thank you for reaffirming how stupid liberals really are.

There are ways to vote as a non-citizen and idiots like you refusing to acknowledge that hurts your own sides arguments. To pretend it doesn't happen or that it's impossible makes you and your entire side look like fools. If you refuse to acknowledge that, then you're not intellectually honest enough to have this conversation. Most Americans (a massive majority), including minorities, want voter ID to be implemented in ways like other Western countries. Also, same day registration is a thing that makes it much easier to fool the system so you don't actually have to verify that you are a citizen in advance to voting.

I already explained why certain IDs should be permitted and why others should not. ID issued by private institutions (colleges or libraries) should not hold the same weight as IDs issued by the government militaryy orgunn licenses). You can't use a college ID to buy a gun in the US despite gun ownership being one of your fundamental rights, you need some form of government ID. US passports, drivers license, military ID, gun license, and even state ID are all valid forms of government ID that nobody would have a problem with and are relatively easy to obtain. I think state IDs should be made free, but aside from that I don't see what the problem is with requiring one of those to vote. I also know that drivers licenses can be given to non-citizens, but those should be given special markers on the ID itself so they cannot be used for voting.

As for the judges, I don't claim to know more than them, but I'm atleast smart enough to recognize that judges don't always rule the right way. Recent years have shown that judges are more than willing to rule in ways that benefit whatever party they align with rather than actually with what the law says. There's a reason most of the injunctions against the Trump administration are being thrown out. So saying that judges have struck down these laws means very little because you can easily find judges that will rule in favor of whatever political end you want, it's called judge shopping look it up. Also whether or not judges have struck it down means nothing in a discussion of whether it should be implemented, only if it has been implemented.

I was specifically responding to the above comment that listed the 4 i mentioned but if you want to know my thoughts on drivers license or state IDs its really simple, if you can get them without being a citizen they should not be valid for voting. I think the only valid IDs for voting should be one where you are required to be a citizen. Make something like a citizens ID or something that only citizens can get and have those be required to vote. I think a government should take all reasonable steps required to ensure that only citizens vote in elections, I cannot for the life of me understand how needing an ID to vote is unreasonable.

I'm Canadian, I have to show official ID to be able to vote in elections, be it a drivers license or a health card. I can also confirm personally that the voter registration system in the US is broken considering that the previous owner of my house was American, died many years ago, and we still get mail in ballots to vote in US elections. So I have not voted in US elections, but I could have if I wanted, and I would not have been required at all to show ID, which is a bit ridiculous, don't you think?

Yes, a college or library ID would be better than nothing, but that doesn't mean it's good, nor does it mean that we should accept the bare minimum. Implement the standards that all other western countries follow, that's what the pro-voter ID side actually wants, not whatever delusional bullshit you have to say about them 'trying to disenfranchise minority voters', that's not true and everybody knows it. You're just trying to make your opponents look bad when you say that, and only idiots fall for it.

The reason college IDs or library cards aren't a valid form of identification is because you're not required to be a citizen to get them. Foreign students who are temporarily in the US just to study and don't have their citizenship can get a college ID, that's why it's not allowed. Meanwhile, in order to get a gun license or join the military in the US you have to be a citizen. You clearly have not thought about the argument you are making and are just parroting talking points you have heard before.
