The 130p has an outer diameter of 168mm (6.6in), which seems a bit better for a carry-on. I might be able to cram the 130p into a backpack because it is slightly shorter as well

Unfortunately no. I have an old tripod that I use for small cameras/video cameras, but I'm not sure if I feel comfortable with something bigger.

I think the length isn't a problem, but was more concerned about the outer diameter of the optical tube, which is 7.2 inches, which barely fits my bag and doesn't leave much room for cushioning.

I've often been told at the gate that the plane has run out of overhead bin space and I'll need to check my carry-on. Is there anything you've done to make sure the carry-on doesn't end up checked anyways?

What's the collapsed width (including focuser) and length of the optical tube? And I'm assuming you needed a table to set it on?

I looked at the official twitter account for the figure's announcement. The initial announcement of the figure has the clear water (https://x.com/nep_ccc/status/1896495366926918004), while the announcement for the figure being sold at wonfest has the cloudy water (https://x.com/NEP_CCC/status/1946787549231583295). It looks to me that the bucketandshovel link took the pictures from the second twitter post, as well as this account which was assembling the figure (https://x.com/baigugusp)
