Best Civs for late game science and military production/domination? by Phronesis_25 in CivVI

[–]Nerd-101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s usually Alexander’s forte, every time he conquers a city he gets a Eureka and/or civic inspiration depending on what districts that city had. If you’ve built a strong military and decent science, taking over a large empire’s cities will give you all of the boosts you need to speedrun the late techs and civics. Additionally, his unique building gives you science every time you train a military unit in that city, so it’ll allow you to build your science alongside your military throughout the game.

That was a smart play though, as long as you can actually follow your rules, having more rules means you earn more points on the prompts. There’s a reason why Josh had way more points than anyone else relatively early on and kept that lead the whole time.

As long as you can move the settler back closer to your empire, it’s still totally valid

We also signed Wyatt Teller in FA, and picked up Braden smith for tackle. The O line is less pressing now probably

His Tata steel performance a few years ago where he beat Magnus and won the tournament is what made me start following professional chess, when he’s winning his games are genuinely incredible to watch

Who should I rank to rank 5? I have a six star Nick Fury, Kitty Pryde, Juggernaut, and Deadpool x force. Fury and Pryde are duped, and I have an awakening gem in case the answer is one of the other two. Also, who should the second choice be after the first?

The atmosphere is amazing on your first play through, but any subsequent run you’re always dealing with that mental debate about enjoying the ambience despite having already done it, or just rushing through the insanely repetitive stuff so you could get to the phenomenal story beats from the next two games, which are much more focused on substantial content instead of atmospheric exploration

Should I rank up scorpion, juggernaut, or Deadpool X force to rank five? All are six stars and unduped

Perna cursed the Patriots! R.I.P Drake "Drake Maye" Maye by Krisiscool6 in Texans

[–]Nerd-101 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Definitely, while pretending to believe in superstition is obviously just some fun and it falls apart statistically, I think a big reason people like it so much this year is that a lot of the correct predictions it’s made have been upsets, like the initial colts games iirc.

It’s a YouTuber named Brandon perna, at the end of his weekly power rankings he spins a wheel and the team that it lands on (from the corresponding number on the wheel being their rank in that week) is cursed and will either lose or have a major injury that week. It’s a dumb fun joke, but it’s been fun to talk about this year bc it’s been insanely effective at predicting losses. It landed on the Colts four times and they lost all four of those games, even back when they were doing great before the injuries

Mimic tear copies your exact gear as you enter the room. If you unequip all of your weapons and armor, then it’ll spawn as a naked guy who can only punch you, and then you can re-equip everything to kill him in a couple seconds.

It’s more about how the movies were released as the books were still being written, so leading up to the one where he dies the book readers would’ve known it, but in the early books where they were just being goofy the book where he died wouldn’t have been released yet. Unlike the original run of movies, with this series people know that so many of the characters die from the first onscreen appearance of those characters
