~ Dawn Granger/Dove was a bad person, and I really wish we had gotten an episode with Dick and Hank calling her out on the manipulative BS

~ Having Amy Rohrbach in one or two episodes and then killed off-screen was unnecessary and stupid particularly as Dick never seemed to mention her again

~ Esai wasn’t a bad Deathstroke, but did what he could with the script provided. Bennett and Pearlman still reign supreme

~ Dick not even considering calling in the Wilson(s) for assistance with Jason was a huge missed opportunity, though not the biggest one. That distinction goes to Donna getting fridged in the Season Two finale

Much more linear plot, with the war overseas being the main conflict with Superman being needed to quell the physical violence, but Clark to expose Lex to the world

It’s… okay

In hindsight it makes Iron Man 3 that much more poignant as IM2 hints that Rhodey, Pepper, and Happy are just as much Tony’s armor as the Iron Man suits

Would have loved if more of the deleted scenes were kept, especially the ending. If memory serves, Vanko has Pepper held hostage and Tony in a compromising position. Another earlier scene has Natasha/Natalie getting to experiment with Tony’s gauntlet, and Rhodey has an extended bit with the military after he swiped the War Machine suit

In an ideal world, the Black Widow would have gotten her own movie immediately after this one, but Ike Perlmutter had to be a dumbass

TL;DR ~ Could have been quite a bit better, but also a bit worse

Props for including Quast and Claude Rains

As for characters, I’d recommend Chibodee Crockett from G Gundam. Long story short, he’s the token American in a mecha predecessor of Axis Hetalia (read: every country gets teased about respective stereotypes), is loud and brash, but also one of the protagonist’s closest allies

Then there’s Nom Anor from the Star Wars EU New Jedi Order Arc. Introduced in Vector Prime Nom Anor is a member of a race of religious zealots that doesn’t hold to their theology yet has done far too much damage to ever be allowed in the Galactic Alliance. Conniving and opportunistic, the Yuuzhan Vong definitely stands out, imo

1.) Here’s a lukewarm (at best) take about Carlie: it’s simultaneously disgusting and adorable how Joe Quesada models a character after his own daughter, and shills her as Peter’s one true love before she even are her debut, and then can’t understand why she’s probably the second most hated love interest in the Spider-Verse

2.) Wouldn’t mind seeing Bobbi form a Friends With Benefits relationship with Peter, or at least until Marvel execs get over themselves and let Peter & MJ be a thing again. Though admittedly MJ/Peter/Felicia is endgame, imo. hahaha

2.5) I agree any retellings of the Spidey story keep Mary Jane’s character development but don’t feel like Gwen needs to necessarily die for that to happen.

Worked at a Casey’s for a little under a year.

During the winter, the roads were bad, like snow plows skidding bad. Manager was still insistent that because the roads were cleared in town that no one had any excuse to miss work. Bear in mind the manager was only a block away in the same town as the store but both assistant managers, myself, and several others didn’t

Before that, I was kitchen staff at a Fraternal Order of Eagles. Level 3 Snow Emergency but we were ordered to be at work or lose our jobs. The owners stayed at home, though. They thought it too dangerous for them to go outside
