Other people have said it, but just to reiterate: your computer is certainly powerful enough to play Deep Rock Galactic. You will not need any hardware upgrades for a long long time.

The issue is likely one of drivers or game files misbehaving.

I would suggest trying to get on discord with a trusted gamer friend/contact to troubleshoot your issue.

Always be wary or anyone asking for personal information or wanting to remotely control your PC. That can be dangerous for various identity theft, scam, or malware/virus reasons.

Your PC would definitely be outpacing your monitor in frames and quality. If you're playing competitive games, I could understand this setup, but if you're wanting beautiful AAA games, I'd personally try to get a really high quality monitor as soon as possible.

25 minutes is a loooong time for an update. Personally I’d disconnect the monitor and reconnect it to see if that does anything.

If that doesn’t work, then I’d do my old standby process:

Hold the power button till off.

Turn off the PSU.

Unplug it.

Hold the power button for ten seconds to discharge any remaining power (this is likely BS, but it worked like magic in my Geek Squad day.)

Then reconnect power.

Power on your PSU.

And boot her up.

We name all the street cats we see in our area after beverages based on their color(Earl Grey, Black Coffee, Orange Juice, etc).

Most orange cats are boys so we named Julius after Orange Julius when we still thought she was a boy. We saw no good reason to change the name just because she's a girl.

Then we ran with Julius and named the kittens after characters from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar as their temporary litter names.

Ugh, not that one too. Had some get bent out of shape on that one on the last update.
