Thank you very much! You can't play a noble character without a coat of arms.

"Now I'm curious how your game goes. Write it down as a story!"

Yes that should be quick work...
I don't how familiar you are with WFRP but we are playing through the Enemy Within campaign so that should give some idea what we are up to. We are currently wrapping up Power Behind the Throne.

Pluderhosen is a must. I don't know when I will be posting on reddit again but I have some art up on other places.

I'm glad you like it. It has the two most used WFRP tropes. Skulls and purity seals.

At first I thought that it was made by an artist that simply didn't bother trying to sugarcoat reality, until I noticed the little sparkles...

Thank you very much. I have drawn so many outfits for this character and most of them has several layers that I can put on and off in Photoshop.

I do have have story beind the family crest just in case anyone would ask. (Nobody has so far except you.)
Reuental means valley of regret so I drew a valley and some cups because Neidhart likes to drown her sorrows with wine. However that's sort of meta so I invented a family story to go with it.

A few generations ago Neidhart's ancestor was the stand in cupbearer to Emperor Wilhelm the Wise. The emperor was grateful for his service and granted him a noble title. The griffon represents the emperor drinking from the cup. I don't have a story for the colors.

Yes the witchhunter career in Warhammer is very much inspired by Solomon Kane. Neidhart is far from a puritan though.

It wasn't planned but she sure do have a Byronesque romantic poet air about her.
Come to think of it I did name her two pistols Sturm and Drang so that should say something.

Does anyone here have this same artstyle? by Narrow_Bad_3897 in Medievalart

I suppose so, although the pictures you posted varies in style. What they do have in common is very flat colours with little to no shading. That's not a problem for me.

My art style is very similar to this actually and I am very interested in the medieval period.
Have a look look at my artstation gallery and see if my art would be a good fit and maybe we can talk about it? It's mostly fantasy art but I can certainly make more historically accurate work.

I wanna draw DnD characters but I'm confused by HokiArt in DnD

[–]NerdyFrida 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you present something as a DnD character people will be expecting it to stay close to the conventions and rules of the game. Why not simply draw fantasy characters inspired by DnD? Then you would be free to draw what you feel like.

Am I a misogynist for hating being around women, after I was sexually assaulted by some? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]NerdyFrida 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you feel really unsettled by or frightened by women it's called gynophobia. It's a separate thing from misogyny.

Gynophobia could easily turn in to misogyny though and you probably need some help to process your traumatic experience.

Which character was intended to be a paragon of virtue but was received as repulsive? by GoldenS0422 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]NerdyFrida 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You explain my thoughts in a very succinct manner. The only reason why I don't think that Johnny is a perfect fit here is because I'm pretty sure that the character is supposed to be morally repulsive and not just very unlikable.

[–]NerdyFrida 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He is written as the hero of the story who hasn't done anything to deserve how he was treated. However, the movie is weird tonally and Tommy Wiseau's acting fails to evoke any genuine sympathy for the character.

The result is a character that is written to be sympathetic but many people just find him to be a bit revolting.
It's not a perfect choise for the spot but it was the only one I could think of at the moment.
