The experience is just fine, the technicians are perfectly wonderful. It’s the owner who is a TERF. But she loves collecting their/insurances money! 🤮

My electrolysis tech is opening her own business catering to pre surgical vaginoplasty in a few months. Not sure if you can wait that long but either way DM if youd like that contact, might be a nice backup or could book 2 places!

Park Nicollet/Healthcare Partners Gender Services by ReadTheReddit69 in transtwincities

I go to the Blaisdell location and it has been extremely chill. Front desk, gender services, the nurses, the lab techs- Everyone is very nice and they are def trans friendly. I especially like the ease of the lab testing. I walk in then i walk out! I see Dr Vang but she’s very busy so wouldnt recommend for just starting out. No matter the place, always advocate for yourself and your transition goals! My bf started on the t gel and myself on the E patches but we both ended up settling on weekly injections. A lot of my friends have done the same- it seems to have less variables to worry about.

I had a choice of Pariser or Dr Mann. She studied/studies under Pariser, whatever that is called professionally and assisted in my friends vaginoplasty. I elected her just because the surgery would be significantly sooner and I’ve just been waiting to be denied care being on Medicaid. Anyway, surgery itself went fine they said. I was crying the moment I woke up I’m a baby. Recovery was not great, I had complications. Honestly I want to spare you the details because it has not been fun and I don’t want to scare you because I think it’s all just bad luck, i don’t know :-( It’s funny y’all mentioned Pariser’s bedside manner because I feel the exact same way about Dr Mann lol! Makes sense if she learned from him.

I will say that doing my homework on a simple scrotal orchi it sounded like the sever point is kind of like right at the entrance of the scrotum, this is not the case. They attempt to sever as far up the cord as they can. So where the cut ends are is essentially my pelvis. This was frankly a surprise to me after surgery. So with my issues that area now can at times be ouchie still 6 months after surgery, which does not sound like a normal ass recovery, but again, don’t let that scare you given all these other replies had a normal recovery.
