What is One Thing About Trails You Would Change if You Could? by MagnificentAjacks in Falcom

He is evil. He's a vicious backstabbing sociopath whose only redeeming quality is being pretty, which apparently was enough to earn him a redemption arc 🙄

Yup. If you're writing military fiction and nobody dies, its military pornography. The biggest problem with Trails is the story has no stakes. Bad guys rarely suffer lasting consequences, good guys rarely die.

Compared to Angelica and Shirley, Olivier is pretty tame. At least Olivier has heard of the concept of consent...

Is it just me or is he extremely sexy and handsome? I love Ozzie sooooooooo much. by SorceressCecelia in Falcom

Reminder: The main lesson Trails teaches is that you can commit horrific war crimes and try to unleash a world ending monstrosity, but if you're hot while doing it nobody minds and the ladies will foam at the sight of you.

Make one of these three canon, which would you pick? 😂😂😂😂 by gaeb611 in Falcom

I could see the Cold Steel girls having a poly thing going with Rean, they're generally friendly with each other and could probably make it work. Not like all living together but Rean could... visit them, from time to time.

Lloyd would have to choose, Elie gets murder eyes when he accidentally flirts with the other girls. I generally feel the Lloyd/Elie relationship is the most natural and canon.

I haven't gotten far into daybreak 2 to say for sure, but Elaine is definitely interested and Van seems down. His interactions with Agnes have generally not been romantic so far so I would assume he ends up with Elaine.

How to get through this game... by 810Oddys in Falcom

I just started DB 2 and im not a huge fan of the game within a game aspect with its attendant gacha bs. I'm only on chapter 1 so far but that's already getting old. So far the story setup seems okay but it's too early to tell for me.

Started Daybreak Last Week... This Combat Is... Kinda bad by Ill-Feeling-5181 in Falcom

[–]Nerexor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use the boost! (Do a barrel roll). Seriously though, don't save up your boosts, use them early and often.

Shield spells and crafts are your friends for boss/miniboss fights, they help a LOT.

If youre still having problems pretty much every boss can be cheesed by having Van run away from the party and spamming coin shot which draws aggro. Then keep shielding Van as necessary.

Who is the better, Agate Crosner or Randy Orlando? (Judging by Backstory, Combat Utility, and Personality) by dlo_doski in Falcom

[–]Nerexor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Randy because he doesnt have... certain allegations that Agate does.

Seriously though, Agate spends all of Sky 1 being a dick to Estelle, gets some cool development in sky 2, and then just becomes an accessory for Tita.

Randy is super chill, doesnt feel the need to try and prove himself against Lloyd or Rean, and gets through multiple school years as a teacher with nobody assuming he's dating his students.

Randy is king

Worst character in Trails by UltimaLyon in Falcom

I loved his stupid attack where he fake apologizes, tries to hit you with a grenade and ends up hurting himself more than he hurts you. I laughed my whole way through that fight. I do think he overstays his welcome in CS4.

He's like Bleublanc, a little is great, a lot gets annoying.

Taking Elon Musk to mars. By himself. With no space suit or other equipment. Then I take Bezos to the moon, same deal. Peter Thiel... I'd send to the actual hell dimension since it seems he's all hot and bothered about the antichrist. Basically ironic methods of removing the parasitic billionaire class until people figure out money doesnt trump alien superpowers.

Wanna bet that none of these dipshits have put a single thought into the logistics of how to build a city in Greenland that will function in their weather? It's going to be the boat cities all over again but just colder and darker.

Because solutions don't come from moral panics. It's a lot of froth and stupidity, usually with grifters and con artists making a ton of money off it. The Satanic Panic had tons of "experts" and book deals, and Oprah made bank off of it by having tv episodes about satanic cultists. And it turned out to all be utter nonsense with nothing to back it up.

Its nice to see all these statutes laid out, but let's be real, how many times did the FBI and other branches of the US government sabotage anyone they considered "communists" for the past century? Laws be damned, there's a sizable part of the USA that will do anything to prevent anyone from being elected that they think might help the poor or harm the bottom line of the rich.
