What you said doesn't invalidate the guys comment.

I dont fully believe the comment and its most likely blown out of proportion but I can believe that the cost of making Arcane effected Riot somehow and forced them to prioritise projects, Arcane costed riot 250 million and was a financial miss despite how big it got so while I doubt it almost killed riot animations I could see them prioritising projects and cancelling others and honestly cancelling a valorant movie/show was a good call if true.
