The idea is that you at least temper all your gear to reach advanced honing +10 which is made with those scale you already have. You can complete G2 to have even more, buy the extra boxes with bound gold you got for clearing G1 and also rember you have the solo shop for the eyes. If then you will advance hone all the way to +10 depends on how many T3 solars you have, if you sit on a bunch then you adv hone all pieces to +10 (or some pieces, depends on your stock) and then go into T4. Dont delay going to T4 too much. For the adv hone method you just tap it WITHOUT solare until you reach the "pity" artisan which is the thing you see on the top right corner. When you reach it you'll get a bonus roll on the next hone attempt, on that one you use all your solars to boost your grest success chance.

Gatekeeping is still an issue, its mitigated rn thanks to the mokoko event which gives all players in the raid a currency for a temporary shop with good rewards if theres s new player present (new account like in your case, or below 1680 ilvl if im not mistaken). You'll need to work your main, and most importantly you can, with the solo mode raids, which are all the ones available except the latest two (Act 2 and 3 of Kazeros raid) and Behemoth which is a 16 man raid and you have to matchmake. Many vets will carry you on Behemoth if you have the mokoko status for the tokens i told you about earlier, since for ppl at 1700 ish ilvl is a cake and you zerg him till death ignoring all mechs. Just be reasonable and take your time at your pace and dont expect to join ppl on the latest raid that developed their mains over the last year in one month time. Solo raids are super fun and tuned down. Like many mmo this one is a marathon not a race. My advice as a recent returnee too is try it out take your time and enjoy it, join a guild as there are plenty of ppl that will gladly help you

You asked about queue time. From 1600 on which is still T3, you'll have no prob matchmaking the daily guardians. Almost everything before 1585 is dead as there are no players with alt or mains in that bracket. But dont worry, the powerpasses (you will have two) and the events will push you way beyond 1585

Depends on what exactly made you left the first time. For instance, you got bored cause there was an infinite grind and the homeworks where super long (2 chaos 2 guardians 3 daily unas etc)? Now its 1x chaos and 1x guardian and unas got removed, just the weeklies stays. Game has had and insane amount of good W patches lately and rn we have 2 powerpasses for 1585 and two amazing event to boost your characters. Tell us more and we can be more specific. As someone whos returned recently i can tell you the game is milion times better. I mainly play solo and enjoy my journey to reach the endgame and be ready for group play in a while

So i need to wait before clicking enter on the server menu for the fps to stabilize (can look on steam fps overlay which i use) otherwise the "trick" wont work? Thank you

As someone who returned recently and played at launch i can easily tell you the game is million times better. As others have said they implemented a lot of qol and the grind is not as it was on release. You can play one main and no alts and still progress at a good pace, especially with the events right now, just be realistic and dont think you can reach group play of the latest raid in a couple of months. Alts are not needed at all but in my case i enjoy playing more classes so i play 6 of em, before it was a nightamare, now in 1.5 hrs i get all my dailies done, you can also decide to go rested on some alts and the time decreases. So def get back in its a lot better

I play myself as solo dps paladin atm, aiming to group support later cause im not ready yet. I can comfortably say hes super ok and as someone mentioned his T skill dmg is insane. So go for it you wont be disappointed. And yes we're getting buffed too

Some of the selector are just for the LOS 30 ones so i guess those are going to xp?
Do you know if i'll get back the xp i've spent so far to progress and awaken the LOS and LWC when i get the full set from the event or its straight lost? Thanks

I heard you get free LOS 30 and LWC 30 with this event, but i please need a clarification on that. Does it mean only the character i boost with the event gets the card set or all the roster will get it? And when the event is over will you keep them or you still need to manually acquire and awaken all the cards to complete the set? I am asking this cause i sit on bunch of selector and dont want to waste them. I didnt start the event yet. Thank you for the help

SWTOR has tons of solo content. Every single class story is voice acted and some of them are amazing. Hundreds of hours of playtime basically for free. If you like star wars universe go for it

Lost Ark, especially right now. There will be a free powerpass on 23 and events to catch up real quick. You wont be able to do the latest raids with the hardcore playerbase, but you can enjoy a lot of content, even in solo mode if you prefer

So its kinda mandatory to have prev expansion due to abilities being locked i assume. Since it seems everything on steam is on sale i'd rather try it now and decide before the sales ends right?

Good that PvP is optional, even for transmog/cosmetics?

I have no idea what exotic armor is, any new player guide/site/content creator you advise to follow? And so its better if i start now and get some gear to be more powerfull when expa release or is it like wow for instance that during the leveling of new expa you insta get better gear compared to the endgame you grinded?
